Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Chantal Fernando comes the latest in the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series featuring a red-hot romance and plenty of mystery!

Ranger is at a crossroads: He has a chance to leave the motorcycle club and do something else with his life - but he keeps getting dragged back. When the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club asks for his help, Ranger agrees, not only because it is hard to say no to them but also because he has a vested interest.

A woman is missing.

And Ranger knows her.

The Wind Dragons aren't the only ones hoping this girl can be found - on the hunt is Johanna Chase, a stubborn detective who won't give up until the missing woman is found safe. She needs Ranger to navigate the underground world of motorcycle clubs, and immediately sparks fly. Ranger fights the attraction. He has no plans on going there, no matter how beautiful and badass she is. A biker and a cop? Ridiculous.

But the two of them soon realize that they're in way over their heads, and now they have to trust each other in order to save her. With the WDMC and the police force at their back, it should be no problem, right?

Important missing details!

Unfortunately, all of this series in not available on audio. In order to be 100% in track, you would have to read, at least, two of the three novellas, in the series;4.5and5.5. If you haven’t read these, you will be confused ,at the beginning of this novel. Things you need to know before listening to book 6.
Spoiler alert for the 4.5 and 5.5 novellas, only available in print.
1. Talon and Tia are now a couple
2. Slice, from the Wild Man MC has been betraying his club.
3. Due to Slice’s betrayal, the Wild Man MC has been disbanded and Talon and Ranger have been allowed to join the Wind Dragons MC.
Now you should be able to start book 6 and not be lost. This is one of the best books, in the series, I shed tears, more than once..I sure hope there are more books released, in audio, in this series.

Love Narration-not so fond of plot

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Any book narrated by Sebastian York is time isn't a waste of time lol. However, I was a little disapointed by the story line. I would have loved to read about Tanen (I think that's how it's spelled) and Tia's story. Not sure why this would be focused on Ranger. Also, not sure if the author forgot the names of the children lol. The epilogues are usually years later and don't know if anyone else has noticed Ana's epilogue mentions her daughter being named after Lana. Then Bailey's other daughter, and even Sheyla's have a different name on this book. It's as if the author lost track of the names and stories. Also, when did Faye get kidnapped? No mention as to how many years had passed by since Vinny's daughter was born, so it's kinda hard to keep up with the story.

What does Sebastian York and Eva Christensen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian York brings tremendous value to any book he narrates because he keeps most readers engaged (also Zachary Webber!) . I've listened to books with poor narrators and I can't even finish listening to it so he definitely brings value to the series. I was glad to see he had more parts in this book.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest this being the last book in the series. While I loved the Wind Dragon's characters, I feel like another book would be distant from those main characters. She has great talent as an author, I would love to read a new series even if they do a quick mention of this one. Extending to these books would be overkill

little different

Loved this book. I'm not sure why there are so many negative comments it was unfair that Ranger left the MC and Jo is selfish because he did. From the beginning of the book Ranger is talking about how unhappy he is and how he's thinking of leaving. Even other members noticed his unhappiness. I didn't see Jo as selfish but more on the low self esteem and everything is my fault and everyone is going to hate me.
overall I really enjoyed the book.

Love the Man, Love the Club!

Love this series. However, from the get, I didn't like Jo, the idea of her or her personality. There is no way she didn't know he would give up the only Life, Love, Loyalty and Family he ever had. Shame on her for putting him in that situation. The fact that she wouldn't even consider giving up her position for him is such a telling characteristic. She could go into private investigating, or private security. But nope she wasn't gonna even consider it. Then to pretend to have a problem with what he is doing is ridiculous. She is so selfish. Also the fact that she uses the Wind Dragons to help move, decorate and do whatever helps her. And the fact that she is still hanging out with them, isn't that still a conflict of interest? Then for her to say she fought for them is a joke. It's easy to say I would of done it after the fact that he already gave up everything! Again, Jo is selfish, and only about her. She didn't give up or do anything for Ranger. He should have so fell in Love with Elizabeth!

Love my Wind Dragons

All the books in this series are great. This one touched me the most. Ranger is this big bad biker with a soft side, that he does not like to show. The chemistry between Jo and Ranger is off the Charts. Without giving too much away he makes the ultimate sacrifice for her. They come from two different worlds. She is a cop and he is a biker.

Huge disappointment

Unlike other entries in this series, the relationship in this book was one-sided. The biker gave up everybody he cared about while the cop gave nothing. Compromises on Jo's part would have made her at least likable.

4.5 Stars - the cop and the biker ‘swoon’

Sparks fly as Ranger agrees to help police officer Johanna Chase to find her missing cousin (also an old friend of his). Opposites most definitely attract, and the tension is palpable as Johanna fights her attraction to a member of the Wind Dragons MC. She’s a cop, and for all intents and purposes he’s a criminal. But the attraction is strong so the inevitable happens. Lots of action, sexy time, and a huge big spanner in the works that prevents a full on romance blossoming. Can they overcome all the roadblocks and get their happy ever after? Got to say Ranger is a perfect MC book boyfriend, and with Sebastian York narrating, he make for a drool worthy main character. Narration also from Eva Christianson, the perfect Johanna.
