Meet the Creators

James Patterson is the world’s bestselling author and most trusted storyteller. He has created many enduring fictional characters and series, including Alex Cross, the Women’s Murder Club, Michael Bennett, Maximum Ride, Middle School, and I Funny. Among his notable literary collaborations are The President Is Missing, with President Bill Clinton, and the Max Einstein series, produced in partnership with the Albert Einstein Estate. Patterson’s writing career is characterized by a single mission: to prove that there is no such thing as a person who "doesn’t like to read", only people who haven’t found the right book. He’s given over three million books to schoolkids and the military, donated more than seventy million dollars to support education, and endowed over five thousand college scholarships for teachers. For his prodigious imagination and championship of literacy in America, Patterson was awarded the 2019 National Humanities Medal. The National Book Foundation presented him with the Literarian Award for Outstanding Service to the American Literary Community, and he is also the recipient of an Edgar Award and nine Emmy Awards. He lives in Florida with his family.

Book Starts as if in the Middle of a Story

Though the story, once I figured out what was happening, was good. The start seemed to be sarted in the middle and was terribly confusing. The Storyline was action just about all the way through and Daniel was just about as lost as I was.
Narration was good, but parts were either way to quite to hear or the Music was Very loud.

The Show

Great adaptation, now when can we expect HBO or CW to pick it up and turn it into a show?

Power level 9000

This is the kinda of energy I am looking for in books. I do not have time to read books or watch tv. Different voice actors for the characters was a treat👌

Another GREAT so already waiting for one for book2

I really love these audio dramas. And not expecting such a great start to what I see is based on a series of books I can only hope we get this way too. I loved the Alien trilogy, Impact Winter (need a sequel there) and now this. Used to be such a huge fan of Star Wars novels because it had the sound effects and a few extra voices. Brandon Sanderson has some great readers too that really get you into the story but none of it compares to how these do it. The only thing I could want would be longer. And to get free for being a subscriber makes it that much better. Audible MAKE MORE!

fantastic story for young adults

This book is I think for young adults but that suits me at the moment, even though I am middle aged! I really enjoyed this book. it was a quick easy listen, great action but still feel-good where the baddie gets it and the good always wins!

Kind of hard to understand

Was kind of like listening to a movie but missing a lot without the pictures. Cool idea and sound, but often had no clue what was happening.

It’s pretty good

I would say this is for younger listeners but overall it was ok. They do go into effort with sounds and effects which I really liked but the story line is definitely for juniors

Incredibly surprised!

Very different to anything on Audible I have listened to before. Was a treat to have storyline, each character having a different voice over, music to suit the scene and background sound for dramatic effect. Loved the difference.
