Wow! Dark, Gritty, and Well done!

This was a fine audiobook adaptation of Kevin Smith's Graphic Novel. With a full cast and superb sound effects, this is something Graphic Audio and Dreamscape should be proud of. Matt Murdock's world is coming crashing down around him when a girl comes to him claiming she has had a child via immaculate conception. Then, things get even weirder. As the tension ratchets up, and Murdock wonders who he can trust, you will wonder who is behind this whole plot. Well executed drama. Recommended for Marvel fans or Daredevil fans who want a modern spin on an "old time" radio show.

Might be biased..

Yeah, ol' Hornhead (or D, as I like to call him, heh jk), is my favorite comic book superhero and has been since I was 5. But maybe that makes me a good judge for this performance, having read Guardian Devil several times (man! I wish they'd do Frank Miller's Born Again on here). I can say it is a perfect adaptation. I'm honestly addicted to these graphic audio presentations at this point. And I've been reading and collecting comics my whole life

nicely done

it's more a vocal performance with background sound effects than a full fledged audio drama but they achieved a nice balance in the formatting and application with rather good vocal performances.

If you love DD, it's a must-listen!

The storyline is straight outta the comics and the performances were great. This was my first time ever listening to an audiobook version of a comic book, and I'm definitely gonna listen to some more. I liked the writing, but I liked the actors' performances even more. It was a true performance, not just a single actor reading the pages of a book. It was like listening to a radio play from the days of yore.

Marvel at its best

There is nothing like a tribute to a character when it is delivered by a fanboy. Kevin Smith brings the goods and drops a Daredevil story that is everything from action to mystery to flat out horror. When a story of this power is dropped on a cast with these chops then you will find yourself listening to this amazing story more than once. Do yourself a favor and check out what Kevin and DD cooked up in Hell's Kitchen.

A gritty story

It is the struggle Daredevil tackles best...seeing truth where there is a lot of grey.

Well Done

Was a GraphicAudio customer for some years and was disappointed to find that the "movie in your mind" concept for Marvel productions had stopped. Now, however, I'm once more a happy camper as the titles seem to have made their way to Audible via Dreamscape.

This title, then, is well produced. It is an audio-drama than an audiobook. Nevertheless, this kind of story, I think, benefits from this treatment. Only criticism is that the title is a little short.
