narration is inconsistent for the books

so far I really like the story but I made it to the second book and the narration is not consistent in other words it has Julia in it but not Todd Julia is narrating the whole book instead of both and that is a very big shame because I bought this whole series because I saw that it was too narrators and I really like it when the man narrates it adds something to it and so I am very sad that the narration is inconsistent the way it is hopefully the other books will have him and it's not just the first book

Worth the credit

What other reviewers have stated is true, these stories are out of order (apparently the author likes it that way). If you get this set and want the chronological order of events, then I suggest listening to it in this order (book 1, book 4, book 2, book 3). Because the publisher smashed the digital download as one big book, you have to skip around to find the start of the books so once you get to the end of book 1, book mark the start of book 2 and then jump to around chapter 60 for the start of book 4. If you are still into the series, go back to the book mark and start book 2. I think book 3 is completely optional and I listened to just half before calling it quits.

I mostly like the series, but I won't listen to them all. I think reviewers are mostly on point with some of these stories and because I started with the sequels by accident, I actually benefited from not having to power through as many others did. Out of this set, book 2 was my favorite.

In summary - good value for a credit, just change the order for listening enjoyment and then check out the Darkstar Mercenaries sequels

I've been waiting. 🥰

I love everything about this Audible and even the books and the narrators were perfect together. The author did an amazing job with the storyline. I'm so happy there is a box set now, Anna Carven. You Rock!

🌻Enjoyable box set, worth the credit!🌻

I really enjoyed these books. There was much more to the plots, then I expected there to be. Yes, there was some insta-attraction and Insta-love but, there was also intimacy. Two of the books are focused on the same couple and their trials to reach their HEA.

There was some inconsistencies in the narration but, it wasn’t awful. Duet narration could have made a good listen, great.

If you like Alien romances that actually have some substance to the plots, this is definitely a credit worthy listen!

Too Much

Story line was a lacking, almost juvenile. Over 1/2 is nothing but sex, heroines seemed weak or two bricks shy most of the time. only finished it because I hate leaving books unfinished, finishing included lots of skipping the 3 to 5 minutes worth of sex interludes that happened ever 5 to 10 minutes of reading. I usually love sci-fi romance but this was definitely a waste. WILL NOT continue with the series.

Smutty

way too much gratuitous sex. it would have been a good book although a lot shorter if the obviously inputted sex sections were deleted.

Overall a Great Series

Didn’t realize this series contained books I listened to quite some time ago since the description is vague; however, I didn’t mind having it again. The 3rd book was my least favorite and the 4th book was missing male narrator (Todd). I love Todd’s voice as male cordolians, deep and lusty.

Not worth it

I wish I could get my credit back. The female voice is granting, it actually sounds like the voice changed during book one. And the writing is repetitive in certain chapters. I stopped in the second chapter.

Nice Flow

I enjoyed the flow of the book and it’s characters from book to book. I love it when the writer links/intertwines the characters within the following books. This felt like a true continuation of the story line and I didn’t have to think too hard on who was on the other book and how they are introduced in the current book. Plus, it wasn’t a huge repetitive thing when they did have to link the character and scenes from previous books to current books so you know where the narrative fits in at a certain point in time. The book just flowed. Unfortunately, for me I do so enjoy reading box set collections so I can listen and drive and don’t have to worry about switching books every other day, but the next book book is only five…. The rest come as singles and not in the box set as 1-4.😔🥺. Honestly. That’s my only disappointment. They book was enjoyable o my drive to and from work.

Hold on… there is one bad thing about this book. I think it’s in the first two books… the person reading the story sounds like a creepy old lady. If u can get past that then ur golden.

Also one of the readers sound like Prim from the movie Transformers!!!!🤣😂

Adventure & Romance & delicious steamy scenes

Anna Carven became one of my favourite alien romance authors with this series

There’s action in this series lots of it, but also a Possessive protective hero who worships his heroine. The steam is really good and the whole world building is so good. I love this series

Thanks to the author for creating this collection, we get 4 books for 1

Also, the narrators are great. The male voice? Absolutely delicious!

all 4 books were different

these 4 stories were different and kept the puzzle solving going, questions like what happened to that station or what happened to those people you eventually find out. It's good to see that each hero/ heroine come together but in different places on earth and you know what's going on as the previous book has already hinted at it eventually I guess all the books will tie in and hopefully they'll end up where the third book has centred everyone.
I gave the narrator's for stars only as they had to adapt to an Australian accent. Me being an Aussie definitely heard the flaws and my ears hurt a little.... other than that Todd and Jillian did an excellent job.

a really great deal

I really loved listening to these four wonderful stories with the warriors that wear naniots as there suit of armour. When they find their mates they really do fall hard and fast.
This series really is a must read
