Publisher's Summary

This course will teach you everything about the dark side of human psychology.

The good, the bad, and especially the ugly elements of the mind will be highlighted in almost every aspect of this audiobook. Human behavior at its worst may be difficult for some people to swallow, but it is all real and part of life. So, if you have the stomach to be confronted with it, go ahead. It's not a course about light psychology. If you like unicorns and rainbows, then it might be better for you to stay in your comfort zone.

Perhaps this course will strip you of a certain naivety you possessed before. Perhaps it will open your eyes to corners of your own mind you never suspected were there. Perhaps you will gain greater insights in what's happening in your family circle, your local supermarket, or your country. Whatever it does, I hope this doesn't make you lose faith in humanity but see things for what they are and how they can be improved. There are many good people. This course focuses on extremities and provides us psychological insights. Influence and persuasion can be innocent tools in daily situations, or they can lead to abuse, manipulation, and exploitation. My intention is to show you both sides to deepen your understanding of the controversial differences and opposition that exist.

This is no small course. Packed together in hours and hours of deep psychological information, you will find yourself questioning underlying intentions, bold but deceiving messages, hidden motives, and limitations of what people do and why. The course is split up into different sections, and each of them will deal with a different topic that somehow relates to evil, deception, lies, manipulation, persuasion, influence, emotions, abuse, personality disorders, and other fascinating and/or lamentable aspects of our short lives on this planet. The topics will vary from individual relationships and self-awareness to crime, marketing, sales, and political agendas on a national and global scale.

If you think this course is a fit and can take your knowledge of how to protect yourself from manipulation to the next level...it would be a pleasure to help you.

Enjoy listening!

Great Insight

For those of us who have been in a relationship like this, living with an abusive toxic narcissist, this audiobook is a godsend. Of course, it doesn't take the place of seeing a therapist or psychologist, but it does a wonderful job of shining bright lights on the problem itself, the steps you need to take, and effective strategies for making yourself whole again. I really needed to listen this audiobook. If you have even an inkling that it might give you necessary information too, check it out. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Absolutely Phenomenal Viewpoint

I learned a lot from Author's point of view on how a narcissist works. Never thought about all the classifications their victims would fall under. Makes me take a different look at the passive aggressive relationship.

Breaking Free from Gaslighting

It is necessary to realize the situation in which you are, to consciously decide if it is what you want or if not, leave it behind. This audiobook (in addition to the techniques of manipulation, body language and human nature) briefly and completely describes the characteristics or toxic behaviors of people that can destroy your existence and gives tools to do what is necessary to avoid and overcome them.

This is one awesome audiobook

I just wished that this was available back in 1990 before I got married to the wrong person and meeting others that practice this dark form of psychology. This book will help you to pick them out and you can learn to protect yourself from their tactics.

Must Listen with an Open Mind

I liked this book because I've been considering going back to school for psychology, and this is one reason I would: to learn the tricks and clues into the secrets of the human brain.

Good approach to the nature of people

I really enjoyed this audiobook and found it very educational. This guide details how manipulators operates. The most valuable part of this audiobook is the Unargue Technique which is a step by step method to getting people to be more sympathetic to your cause. This technique can be used in business deals, job interviews, etc. Good audiobook worth the buy

Highly recommended!

This powerful audiobook explains every rotten relationship, friendship, professional connection, and acquaintanceship that you've probably ever had. I spent years reading self-help books about toxic people, narcissists, commitmentphobes, avoidant attachers, passive aggressives, and bullies, and somehow this guide describes them all -- not all of these personality types/disorders, but the unhealthy relationship dynamics that lead to emotional abuse. The author gives concrete steps you can take to diffuse or improve the situation, and if you get discouraged by how much work you're putting in, she provides thought exercises you can do to help you make specific decisions. Highly recommended!

Very helpful

I think that almost everyone could benefit from listening this book. My only major complaints are that it's a bit repetitive, and the gender-studies bit of my brain doesn't like that the author chose to use "he" for those guilty of gaslighting and "she" for people who have been gaslighted. Granted, that might be the way she's often seen the situation, but I can see it being a deterrent for men who might be interested in the subject.
