Not dry at all!

Initially, I thought the content would be a bit dry, considering psychology is a serious subject. However, thanks to William Cooper’s amazing writing skills, he managed to make the audiobook much more fun to listen to and implement! I am thrilled with it.

Getting better

This audiobook helped me realize how toxic my 3-year relationship was and how to end it. I am now slowly but surely getting better – thanks to William Cooper and his advice. I am now able to read people to determine who has hidden motives and who is genuine.

No need for discontent

No, you do not need to feel discontent with your life. However, saying “just do something about it” would be silly, hence why I want to recommend this audiobook. It helped me get to grips with the reality of persuasion (and how bad I was at it) and start working my butt off to achieve my goals.

Good start

This audiobook is a good starting point for people who are lost and uncertain what to do first. I was at the same point until my mom got me this audiobook. It helped me understand what dark psychology is and sparked my interest in studying it further.

Paperbacks vs voice

Normally, I prefer paperbacks much more than audiobooks. However, when I listened to a sample of this audiobook, I decided that this voice has won me over. I am delighted I got it – it also allowed me to play it while exercising (convenience is a huge bonus)!

Untangle your life

Sometimes all you need is a good book (in this case, audiobook) to help you see how bad your situation is. Tell your oldest friend that they are toxic is no easy task, but it has to be done in some cases. Thanks to Cooper, I am on my way to a more positive life.

Oh wow!

The first thing I said when I played this audiobook was, “Oh wow!” I was stunned by the fab voice that hit my ears! The written content is useful and very well-written, but that voice is something you cannot omit!

Understand sneaky media strategies

For weeks I have been trying to explain to my other half how the media uses manipulation to affect the masses. However, no matter how much I tried to say or explain it, he was having none of it.In my frustration I bought this audiobook and made him listen through it, while he sat identifying the various strategies the media use. I can say he now finally believes me.

The narrator sounds like the voice actor of scooby doo

Mostly a good book and perhaps it’s better than I thought if it was not for the narrator. I have no idea why on earth you’d spend time to write a good book and get a narrator with a voice like that and who is overly cheerie for what is a book about dark psychology. Have it read again by a better narrator.

Listen to chapter 3!

Do yourself a favour and listen to chapter 3 (“8 Common Methods of Dark Psychology”) carefully. It will save you time. and emotional distress of dealing with nasty people and manipulators who want to use you. This author knows what he is on about and is certainly worth putting trust into.

Medicore

The narrator sounded too much enthusiastic. The book lacked of examples and there were too much unnecessary repetition. Although it had some useful points.

Annoying Ned Flanders narration distracts

Annoying Ned Flanders-esque narration distracts from useful information. Could also use chapter summaries as a lot of info in each.

Saved my mum from a player

Many thanks to the author for saving my mom’s love-life. She got this and decided to try reading some people. Her new boyfriend was not only a compulsive liar, but a massive player. I think my mom has enough dating for a few months after applying the advice from this audiobook to herself!

I love this audiobook. It is not only really easy to understand but it really pulls you in from the very first chapter. So much so that I finished it in one day! I cannot recommend this enough and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

Commonly Known Info

I found this glossed over what these things are, but not in detail on how to be able to use them for your best interests. So it’s a giant long book on stuff you can’t implement to improve your life etc. The reading put me to sleep, I couldn’t listen to the entire book :(
