Hilarious. Relevant. Accessible.

This audiobook was very short and sweet. I must admit, before I joined the course I was not sure about the course quality and its worth because very few people had taken this course compared to other courses under the data science category. But I was completely surprised. I found the course very interesting, informative and fun. The content quality was amazing and worth every penny I paid. It has definitely piqued my interest to go deeper in this field. It is really sad that this course has not yet been discovered by many people. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone with some existing data science knowledge and wants to get an insight on a complex, yet highly important process.
This is an excellent start!

Learned something

Insightful. Educational. I've been working with enterprise data warehouses for the last 5 years. I've encountered buzz words such as Data Analytics. Data Science, Big Data. In an effort to bring myself up-to-date to technology and make myself more marketable in the job market, I decided to take this course. I'm glad I did. I already know a lot of the terms and concepts covered in this course through experience. It also informed me of the niche opportunities available related to data.

Love this one,

Love this one, the language of this book was a very simple, interesting and eye opening. It covers very broad subjects starting from how data is related to businesses to the upcoming next generation of data science. Now the world has changed into a whole new era. There are so many sophisticated tools and techniques to handle growing volume of data that generates from ERP, social media, web, whichever sources that can record. Thanks to the digital technology boom. Data is not just numbers. It is the words that we speak, ideas, posts, chats, behaviors, every single click, everything that is recorded and saved digitally. How we predict and interpret whole population with sampling is left way behind. With the help of big data, now we can know every detail with high precision. These giant data are being managed by powerful tools and techniques, artificial intelligence. They know more about us than what we know about ourselves. There are many powerful open sources such as R, Weka, SQL and etc, if you want to take advantage of this opportunity, big data. Big data is not just computer science, it is for everything that connects with decision making. Be prepared and take competitive edge in this Era of Data Science. Thankful!

Easy to grasp, but very informatice.

This was a great introduction to the paths and roles one can take with regard to data analysis. When I thought I wanted to dive in and go through data analysis exercises and play around with the tools, I realized that I had very little understanding of the big picture and context of what data analysts actually do and how they fit into an organization. The presenters were very good as well. I will be looking for more courses from Daniel.

How data really works!

Great intermediate course to understand how data really works. There are so many tools, to-do's, and what to learn next out there but this course really gives you a concise understanding of many general terms, how analyst go through their workflows and the main tools they use in their day to day work.

A very well planned topics and examples

It's a little vague on it's content like regression techniques, predictive analytics and discrete choice at the end could've helped with ensuring the viewer has retained some things of the course.

Super book Audible zone

I was looking more for real world applications, there were a few provided but the instructor had so much experience to share that he made a few suggestions and stopped. I enjoyed the course but not fully satisfied.
I think the instructor could actually make a follow up course and take more of a mentor type of roll to give real world life projects from his experiences. ... Just a thought.
