Publisher's Summary

A Top 100 Amazon best seller

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes a dark MC romance about a broken enforcer and the beautiful, innocent woman who shows him that light can exist even in the dark....

A killer. A criminal.

A psychopath.

The Irish enforcer for The Fallen Men MC is everything good girls are taught to stay away from.

Only, I found myself inexorably drawn into his dark gravitational pull. I wanted to know what it would be like to walk beside the human personification of Death and hold his hand, feel his kiss, and maybe even earn his undying love.

But Priest McKenna is older, cold as ice, and notoriously unfeeling.

So what are the odds that a dead man walking would come to life for little, insignificant me?

When a serial killer begins to target the women of Entrance, BC, and The Fallen suffers another terrible blow, Priest resolves to hunt down the killer himself.

And when the murderer sets his eyes on me? My very own psychopath steps between me and certain death, thrusting us into an intimacy I prayed we would never recover from.

A stand-alone book in The Fallen Men series.

THIS BOOK.. & THE WHOLE SERIES IS EPIC & AWESOME

I first purchased Book 4 in this thrilling series because hello.. a gritty MC love story + Jacob Morgan + Savannah Peachwood +++ Jason Clarke must surely be great ❤️. However, just a couple of chapters in, and I knew I had to start at the very beginning because I felt the awesome and I clearly didn’t want to miss a thing.. plus I really wanted to get to know each and every one of these damaged biker’s stories. And I’ve been submerged for over a week in their beautiful and darkly twisted world.. riveted to their suspenseful, passionate and dirty lives.. and utterly devoted to the men and women who fight hard for their happy ever afters. A loyal loving brotherhood possessive, obsessive and all fiercely protective over the strong women they give their hearts to.. but in Priest’s story his badly scarred body and soul makes him feel unworthy of his Angel’s love. But she will prove him wrong, she will push his boundaries, she will break his walls down, she will touch what others cannot touch and she will see what no-one else has seen.. and she will show her beautiful, savage, psychopath, killer Enforcer love. Unfortunately though.. no, catistrophically, there is an ungodly God-fearing psychopath hiding in plain sight who has other plans for Bea.. and the brutal chilling killings is his message to her - and to everyone else, that she is destined to be his.

Worth a credit? Yes.. and I’ve happily spent 6 credits getting to this point in The Fallen Men series, and I’ve been thrilled with each and every one. Awed by Giana Darling’s world-building, her ability to give beautiful and sweet.. then dangerous and deadly.. and tragic tears and joy. Her skilful web-building of different romantic and emotional plots within the same sinister sub-plot until now have age-gap romances.. and, like this book, the dual POV’s, the characters and the feels were all brought to life by very talented narrators who made them very addictive five star audiobook.

Sorry To Say

Returning this title - I am over 2/3 through and just cannot finish it. The description sounded great, and the plot line intriguing. The inner monologues killed it for me. Especially Bea, That got to be so annoying after a while, I don't even care who the killer is now.

Not My Cup of Tea

I didn't really get it...

To be fair, motorcycle club romance tropes isn't my preferred genre. I went on a limb here thinking I was gonna get some romantic suspense, with some anti-hero vibes in here.
What I got:
-an angry villain with serious baggage disguised as a hero
-a morally confusing female lead with rose tinted glasses
-and a weird fixation on blood

The serial killer, I swear, is just a minor plot ploy to allow the two main characters together.

If you're looking for a book with bdsm-esque scenes every chapter, inner female lead monologues about how "good" people are boring, and a-lot of death threats actually resulting with bloody deaths, this is your book.

Like I said, not my cup of tea but maybe it's yours?

Amazing!

Loved every minute of this audio. The voice’s were a perfect match to the characters. It is exactly how I imagined when I read the book for the first time. The Lafayette women and their men are the best. I love how they can see each other for what the they truly are inside. Their love and obsession for each other is toe curling. I have a question. Will there be a book on Bat and Dane? Would love to read about them. Giana Darling you are an amazing author. The Fallen Men series is one of the best I have read. Thank you for sharing your work with the world.

Dark and Mesmerizing

Holy Cow. Good girl Beatrice Lafayette obsessed with very very bad Priest. How do they coexist together? The sex is intense, though this is a very dark book. However I really enjoyed it. A must read.

Highly recommend if you like dark MC romance!

First I have to say that I love Giana Darling books and this series is my favorite of hers. I’ve honestly loved every book, and now I’m going through the series again listening on audible. I’ve loved all the narrators, it really brings the story to life!

Bea and Priest are everythinggggg. And again, these narrators did an amazing job and I felt like they portrayed Bea and Priest really well.

As much as I love spicy books, listening to them is a different experience and it sometimes makes me cringe. BUT that’s just a personal thing and I still loved this book!

• MMC is a psychopath and has an obsession with FMC (but he’s also a softie on the inside and has struggled with a lot of trauma, so he’s built up a wall. He shows his love by action, not words)

Sweet Sweet Bea!

I fell in love with Sweet Bea while reading Lou and Zeus’s story. She was absolutely the sweetest and I adored seeing her all grown up! Priest absolutely swept me away and I’m obsessed with these two! I loved how this book shows how a girl can love Jesus and like to play with the Devil too. Throughout this book I loved watching Bea grow into this strong young woman and Priest becoming her big bad protector. I love the way he loves her. It’s simple. He loves her. She loves him. I loved them! This series is a true gem!

Really well done

Might just be my second favourite couple

At this point I dont think anything will displace Zeus and Lou from my #1 spot, but Priest and Bea sure did give them a run for their money. Priest is not a good guy. He's barely redeemable, but he is obsessed with Bea and that obsession is returned many fold. The side plot of this made me drag this book out for as many days as I could. I love the Fallen Men series a lot. I love how dramatic it is and how the characters (most of them anyway) are loveable in their own ways. Also note that if blood or chocking ain't your kinks, you maybe should skip this. Because there's a lot of both.

Deep feelings in this psychological romance

This story depicts the love between Bea and Priest which is influenced by their experiences in life.
But someone tries to interfere with their budding relationship in the most horrifying way.
The narrators did an excellent job and I recommend this audio book

+18 Dark MC Romance - age gap, opposites

“I was just a dark heart wrapped in a pretty pink bow.”

+18 Dark MC Romance
4.5/5 ⭐️
4/5 🌶

Bea is a young church going girl donned in pink, who is in love with a much older enforcer of The Fallen MC, who goes by Priest, and is everything but. She has a duality to her that is interesting - she's an intelligent girl facinated by forensic psychology, that is what she studies at college, and she also has a murder podcast. She presents herself as one thing, while being something else interally - I think some of us can relate.

Priest is a sociopath of circumstance and has been through hell until he finally finds his home with The Fallen MC.

These two was a cute match. Priest's inner demons played so well with Bea's and I liked reading about it.

This book is the 6th book in the series, and I do recommend that it is read in order however since the overarching plot of the books prior to this has ended at Inked in Lies you could read this on it's own. Plot of this book is entirely new.

- grumpy sunshine
- opposites attract
- age gap
- 'I will protect you'
- bad guy good only for her
- Dexter vibes!
he calls her his 'little shadow'
- parallels to Hades + Persephone

K!nky: bl00d play, knife, carving + scarification

Audio edition: was so good! There was a few cringy moments with the audio narration but overall the narrators were a good match. The male narrator had a light Irish accent which *swoon*.
