Publisher's Summary

Some things are worth killing for....

Alexandria "Xandy" Caras was charged with murder - a mass murder. The charges were dropped; the case dismissed. Or was it? A serial killer with a "Moses complex" is out for blood - Xandy's blood - and the blood of those who have sinned against the 10 Commandments. The bodies are piling up, and he's getting closer to his number one target: Xandy. Only her death will make it all stop, silencing the deranged killer who thirsts for far more than just revenge.

Tense but graphic violence

Held my attention throughout with a twist at the end.

Karen Rose Richter did a good job narrating and bringing the characters to life.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great book

Great book, coming from the actual area that the world is built in some of the things had me laughing and nodding my head. The narrator did a excellent job with keeping all the different character voices straight. This book keeps you pulled in with the great characters, great dialog and plenty of action. The narrator that did this book I have listened to before and she does a wonderful job.

Liked it

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes I would recommend it.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Most interesting is the serial murderers methods, least interesting is the main characters live interests

What does Karen Rose Richter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Did a good job keeping all the numerous characters voices straight! There is a bunch of characters and sometimes they go by their 1st names sometimes their last name which can get extremely confusing trying to follow who they're talking about.

Do you think Deadly Sins needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes it needs a follow on only to close out the capture or the death of the murderer.

Enjoyable Reading

This book was good also. I like to find out who the killer is that's what keeps me reading. The narrator was also good with this book just like the other books I've read.

Deadly Sins: Spark Before Dying Series, Book 1

"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."

Listening to this serial killer thriller, it was interesting to try and figure out who was good and who had something to hide; who was setting

up whom. All the victims had something in common, having been arrested for a crime, and then charges dropped.

It seems most authors lately are using the same drug for subduing their victims. Lots of other nice twists in the story.I am curious where the

next book in the series will lead.

The narration was very good.

A great start to a series

Any additional comments?

A great listen and well written story that kept me hooked. The narrator was excellent and really brought the story to life. I don’t usually listen to books in this category, but will be looking for more from this author in the future.

* I was given a free copy of the book from AudiobookBlast dot com in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Too many characters, none of them personable.

Too many characters, none of them personable. "Xandy -Sandy" was a whiney , weak, annoying character. This did nothing but waste my time. Nothing.

Thrilling

What did you like most about Deadly Sins?

I thought that the story was Gritty, with very good character dialogue. The author builds a serial killer as if she knows them well. She's definitely thought out and planned her killer well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Deadly Sins?

I enjoyed the book and I thought it ended well which is essential for a murder mystery/thriller. It book ends at a cliffhanger. Which might concern you. Do you find out who the killer is? Yes. Was I surprised? Yes. Pleasantly? Yes

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The murders were interesting which I think is essential when you have a book that has a killer with an obsession over one thing in particular.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Have you broken any of the Ten Commandments? Keep your doors locked.
