After a bumpy start as the only female demon hunter in the top secret Brotherhood of David, Nava Katz heads to Prague for her first undercover mission: unmasking a demon movie star. She'd be all kinds of thrilled if it weren't for the fact that her fellow hunter-with-benefits, Rohan Mitra, has reclaimed his rock star status and assigned Nava the role of groupie. Rejecting her "be a good girl and follow orders" directive, Nava unleashes an alter ego guaranteed to hook their celebrity target and drive Rohan crazy.

Story
In a world of darkness where royal vampires are in charge, I spend my days working as a knight in the city formerly known as London. Instead of a lance and a horse, I rely on my trusty axe, Babe, and ride the occasional dragon. Every day, new threats emerge that require a dash of magic and a dollop of attitude. Naturally, danger comes with the territory. What no one knows is just how dangerous it is for me. If our vampire overlords discover what I am, they’ll execute me on the spot — no questions asked — which is why I avoid them at all costs. Until now.

I’m one placement away from becoming a fully fledged London detective. It’s bad enough that my last assignment before I qualify is with Supernatural Squad. But that’s nothing compared to what happens next. Brutally murdered by an unknown assailant, I wake up 12 hours later in the morgue - and I’m very much alive. I don’t know how or why it happened. I don’t know who killed me. All I know is that they might try again.

The Witch's Reign...a land of unnatural hellish cold ruled over by the Ice Witch herself, who is in turn guarded by three creatures - Wolf, Bear, and Raven. Those lovely beasts derive their power directly from their mistress and just happen to kill any who cross their paths. To get there, you first must pass through the Dragon's Ground. Full of, you guessed it, dragons who for the record, also do not like trespassers. Sounds like a fun place to go, doesn't it? Yeah, not so much.

Supernatural Bounty Hunter isn't the sort of thing you see on LinkedIn. But with a rare type of magic like mine, I don't have many options. Dangerous or not, the job is mine. And it was going fine, until an old-as-sin vampire stole my mark, and with it, my pay day. Knowing I'm poor and desperate, he has offered me a job. Publisher's Summary
Angel of death.
Black market magic.
When you're Ashira Cohen, smart is the new kickass.
When Ash is hired to solve her first murder, it seems like a perfectly normal, open-and-shut case of family feuds and bad blood. Until Ash discovers an evil magical artifact and her lead suspect is of the winged, white-robed, celestial variety. As if that weren't bad enough, if she can't find the perpetrator quickly, fourteen vials of lethal, ghostly magic will be sold to the highest bidder.
Her quest to figure out her Jezebel powers and find the shadowy organization responsible for stripping teens of their magic isn't going any smoother, either. Can't a girl just pursue her dream career without getting caught up in a mysterious destiny? Or, for that matter, playing a dangerous Sherlock-Moriarty game with the infuriatingly hot alpha male in charge of Vancouver's magical community?
But when Ash accidentally crosses the cunning and deadly Queen of Hearts, ruler of the magic black market, all those cases may go unresolved.
Permanently.
With the clock ticking, it'll take all of Ash's intelligence to survive with her moral center-and her head-intact. The game is afoot and failure is not an option.

OMG, amazing!
This was absolutely one of the best books I have ever experienced. The story was great. I really love, love, loved the development of Ash and Levi's relationship. And can we talk about Levi for a minute? He is so . . . just yummy! Not perfect, but pretty darn close. He's so noble, and strong, and steady, but also dangerous and delicious.
I felt the plot was well paced, and very interesting. air enjoyed getting to explore Hedon, and meeting a whole new cast of memorable characters. There were so many amazing, fun parts. I was laughing my head off or grinning like a loon through so much of it. Also the intimate scenes were VERY steamy, and in one case hilarious!
The narrator did a superb job of brining the story to life for me. I don't know how she does all of those voices, and keeps them straight! I didn't expect the voice for Moran, but it helped me visualize him better. Honestly she helped bring details out that I'd glossed over when I read the book the first time, and made it such a fun experience! I can't wait for the next book!!

I'm ready for more~
Book two and I'm already hooked.
We're learning more about the Jezebels with Ash becoming more in control of her powers.
Her character is one of strength, honesty and determination.
There is still a power pull between Ash and Levi and with that the author has added some heat with a chemistry that
leaves you waiting for the explosion.
With that said the Ash has another murder to investigate and the queen plays a larger part in this particular one.
Lots of action leaving Ash in some rather interesting situations.
Yes, the author has a way of grabbing your attention, and the storylines are a breath of fresh air.
I'm eagerly waiting the next book~

Ash is two hoots funny and Levi is growing on her.
Ash is really getting the hang of her magic. She is summoned by the Queen of Hearts to handle a murder case. Now this case has Ash's name all over it with all of the odd circumstances. There is a couple getting married in Hedon and the groom is the victim. One family is Nefesh and one family human and they hate each other. Levi and Ash still have issues and she doesn't want to give him a break. Their chemistry together is off the charts and when they are alone it is scorching. Now her relationship with her mother is not going very well. Her mom still won't acknowledge her magic. Ash is working to find out more about the Jezebels and she where she fits in. This series has more twists than a corkscrew. It is fantastic!

Hmmm I don’t know if I will continue
AUDIBLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING! Their are so many books on amazon kindle that I’m dying to listen to. But you are continually bringing out terrible books for us. No more reverse harems! No more whiny leads!
This book didn’t do anything and was like the first book in the series. It’s almost like the author wanted to hurry up and give us book 2. It was pointless and had no story line whatsoever! It was a terrible rendition of book 1. I was so excited to see book2 come out because I loved the first book. But honestly I can’t remember for the life of me what happened in the book. It was THAT unremarkable. :(

Death and Desire
So I liked the second installment of the Jezebel series much better than book one. My only issue is how the main character interacts with her mother. It seems out of character for Ash. In one chapter she is doing anything to be independent but in the chapters with her mother she does everything but get on her knees and beg. During this whole awkward scene with the mother, I was trying to decide if the author wrote it that way so it would purposely be odd?

Great second book
I really enjoyed this book, the second in this series and it didn’t disappoint. Ash is brilliantly sarcastic and I love how she interacts with people. Stories with the secondary characters are superb and give the plot extra depth. We learn more about the MC’s, imperious one is a hot as ever, makes you crave biscotti.
The narrator, Hollie Jackson, gives an element of Jessica Jones to the story telling which really fits with this being a PI story. The reading is well paced and makes for comfortable listening.
I’m definitely recommending this story, its hard to put down!

Need more STAT
Book Two of The Jezebel Files ups the stakes. Ash has decisions to make, and the greater-scale things get, the more personal they feel. As always, Deborah Wilde's writing, world building, and characters are compelling and vivid, and the plot is unique. The only thing I didn't like was how long it took me to finish this--because life--when I wanted to listen to the entire book in one sitting if possible. I'm ready for Book Three now, please!

Meh..
I couldn't stay focused while listening to this & found my mind wandering all the way through. The story just didn't grab my attention.
I really wish this series was read by a different narrator. As this is a spin off series to the Nava Katz series, a lot of the same language , terms & even slang is used & being read by the same narrator doesn't give the characters their own voice seperate from Nava Katz's world. Hollie Jackson has a very distinctive voice & that makes it hard for me to seperate different book series where she is the narrator. Quite a few times through out this I was taken out of the Jezebel world & right back into Nava Katz's.
I have listened to other series by authors with spinoff series & they have used the same narrator, but the narrator has changed up their voice, attitude of the characters or the way they have read each series to change it up so you know they are different worlds.

Loved the book
The book was funny and I love the story line. However the narrator isn't very good with the make voices. They actually sounded too high pitched and irritating. Half way through I ended up going back to just reading. The book is worth reading, the narrator not so much.
