Dave Ramsey shares Biblical wisdom on the legacy we build with our wealth. What does the Bible really say about money? About wealth? How much does God expect you to give to others? How does wealth affect your friendships, marriage, and children? How much is "enough"? There’s a lot of bad information in our culture today about wealth - and the wealthy. Worse, there’s a growing backlash in America against our most successful neighbors, but why?

While mental health is complex, our culture has made anxiety into something it’s not. For the majority of people who face anxiety, the truth is simpler than we think: Anxiety is an alarm. It’s a signal — nothing more and nothing less. Anxiety is simply our body’s way of telling us something is wrong. If we stop and listen, we can calm the alarm and move forward into healing and hope.

Publisher's Summary
Every parent wants the best for their child.
That’s why they send them to college! But most parents struggle to pay for school and end up turning to student loans. That’s why the majority of graduates walk away with $35,000 in student loan debt and no clue what that debt will really cost them.
Student loan debt doesn’t open doors for young adults - it closes them. They postpone getting married and starting a family. That debt even takes away their freedom to pursue their dreams. But there is a different way. Going to college without student loans is possible!
In Debt-Free Degree, Anthony ONeal teaches parents how to get their child through school without debt, even if they haven’t saved for it. He also shows parents:
- How to prepare their child for college
- Which classes to take in high school
- How and when to take the ACT and SAT
- The right way to do college visits
- How to choose a major
A college education is supposed to prepare a graduate for their future, not rob them of their paycheck and freedom for decades. Debt-Free Degree shows parents how to pay cash for college and set their child up to succeed for life.

Overall, great information
I read this because I heard Dave Ramsey speaking with Anthony on his show and thought it would help me learn more about how to pay for college. I am 24 year old mother and non-traditional student.
Although this did not help me much, it did help me figure out how to tackle this experience with my son someday as he gets closer to college age. Anthony's website is helpful and has many resources for college.
Maybe Anthony can come up with an adult or non-traditional student book?
Regardless, it was a informative read for those with children.

Hard to listen...
The book was informative for someone who had no prior knowledge of the college application process. Having two children that have already been through college, I don’t feel like he provided any new ideas for paying for college. Also, the reader did a terrible job of reading this book. Throughout the whole book, he used inflection on words that he would never emphasize in a normal conversation. It was really hard to listen to this book. I was disappointed.

Great book, but buy the paper copy
This book is chock-full of great information for parents and students who want to avoid debt to fund college. It had several creative ideas that we had never heard of that could apply to many/most students. However, listening to the Audible version was painful!! Anthony O’Neal has knowledge to impart, but he sounds like he is reading a book that someone else has written for the first time. His cadence, tone, and unnecessary emphasis on words throughout a sentence was distracting. I love Dave Ramsey and his personalities, but they should have had someone else read this. My advice...get the book, just get the written version.

Like and dislike
I would highly recommend this book to any parents and students thinking about embarking the college world... but I would suggest getting the book rather than the audio.
I purchased this audio because I trust the source (Dave Ramsey). I thought the content was excellent and it is truly abundant in knowledge... BUT... the audio is terrible. I have never heard Anthony speak. I have heard that he is a good public speaker so I was very disappointed with how he narrated this book. He just came across as if English is not his first language and as if he just learned to read for the first time. His voice overtone and diction was so forced. Very disappointing.
Anthony please hire someone to read your future books. If Max Lucado can have 2 excellent individuals read his books then you can too.
Other than that, content was excellent and I still plan on buying the hard copy as Christmas presents.
