It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Well, as the final entry for what Mark says was his first story, it was awesome. It’s not just the individual books, or even the series. The universe he has created and the characters within are amazing. I’ve listened to almost each one twice. I definitely recommend this series and all others. Great job, Mark. You’re a badass!

It was ok but it fell short for me.
I have read or listened to all of Mark Tufo's books except for a few and all have been good to awesome the read. I'm sorry to say that this one didn't do it for me. Mike in the sorry didn't earn his cockiness. I mean I know he always was saved by a helping hand or dumb luck but what the heck happened to the Progs beening crazy smart and calm under stress? They seemed weakened and watered down in this book all to ready to yield after a setback. I wanted them to be smart just how they started in the early books.

Good final end to series
At this point, a series this long feels like a family member staying for the holidays. I am a huge Tufo fan, but this book was weak compared to the rest of the series. However, I did enjoy it overall. My favorite part was the afterword by Tufo himself, which was a really cool way to understand him. I'm a fan, just didn't go crazy about this book.

Why?
This was a mixed bag. Worst of the series for sure, but a good “ending”. (The author said he’s done... for now). Compared to the hell book that was supposed to start tying these together this is fine. It’s just not really needed the ending could have been an hour or two of the last book and it would have been perfect. This was filler that’s filling time to pay off an ending that there’s no more set up for.
