The “reader” is a robot
There is no way that this reader is a human being. It sounds like the mechanical voice of a speech synthesizer. This is so disappointing. You will go out of your mind trying to listen to this. Really it’s awful.

The narration is TERRIBLE. Even at 2.0x speed, there are excessive pauses and it sounds totally robotic. I can't really judge the content because I couldn't make it more than 10 minutes in (on 2.0x speed)!
