Publisher's Summary

Since the beginning of time, the angelic forces of the High Heavens and the demonic hordes of the Burning Hells have been locked in the eternal conflict for the fate of all creation. That struggle has now spilled over into Sanctuary - the world of men. Determined to win mankind over to their respective causes, the forces of good and evil wage a secret war for mortal souls. This is the tale of the Sin War - the conflict that would forever change the destiny of man.

The demon-backed Triune has fallen. All that now stands in Uldyssian's path to freeing humanity is the Cathedral of Light and its charismatic leader, the Prophet. But the Prophet is actually the renegade angel Inarius, who sees the world he created as his uncontested domain. Facing a cunning foe that would just as readily see Sanctuary destroyed than let it slip from his grasp, Uldyssian is blind to the others who would possess his world. Both the Burning Hells and the High Heavens now know of Sanctuary...and their warring hosts of demons and angels will stop at nothing to claim it.

An original tale of swords, sorcery, and timeless struggle based on the best-selling, award-winning M-rated computer game from Blizzard Entertainment. Intended for mature listeners.

Good story, bad narration

I really wanted to enjoy this trilogy more, but I never got past the awful narration. Characters sounded like parodies of themselves, imitated by someone who doesn’t understand them. It felt like listening to a young child put on a performance. I don’t mean any disrespect to the narrator, but the performances were the worst I’ve ever heard in something that I paid for. Extremely disappointing knowing how good the voice acting is in the games and even some of the other books like Legacy of Blood. If you want to enjoy this series, read it yourself instead of getting the audiobook. I’d love to listen to the series again with good narration.

Lore of Legend

If you're a fan of the games youll love this trollgy.
Angels, Demona, and Humans caught in the middle.
And the rise of the Nephalim.
Heck, you'll love it no matter what.

Stay awhile and read

Very good reading technique but awful voice impressions.
That narrator definitely needs to work more on his voice impression skills.
