Not recommended

The narrator's voice is pleasant, however, the 3 segments are very much the same story line with the type of dinosaur being the only change. Stretching at the beginning is ok, but 16 minutes into a 20 minute relaxation story, the instruction to move and stretch and roll their ankles makes the child awake again. Overall not enjoyed or recommended.

Great for bedtime!

I am a huge fan of these Bedtime meditations by the Mindfulness Habits Team. The dinosaur theme is great, and I love the storm and ocean background options on this one. The Narration on this one is not quite as soothing to me, but that could totally be a matter of personal taste.

My 3 year olds favorite

Pterosaurs aren’t Dinosaurs

I jumped at this when I saw it. I knew meditating to dinosaur stories and facts would be perfect for bedtime with my little dino expert.
However, when you get the facts wrong it can really take a kid who knows the facts out of it.
The very first dinosaur was a “pterodactyl”…
To which my son replied “that’s not a dinosaur”
The next dinosaur in the list was brontosaurus, which is famously never actually existed.
In the time of high quality dinosaur content kids are far more savvy than we were when we were kids. Gotta do your research, can’t rely on what we learned in the 1900s.
