Publisher's Summary

1950s London: newcomers arrive daily on British shores seeking a fresh start, new opportunities, or simply the chance of a different life. However, some are from much further afield than India or Jamaica....

After an emergency landing, the TARDIS crew must make the best of it, and look to their new neighbours for help. But the Newman family has more than the prejudices of the time to contend with. A sinister force grows in strength amid the pubs, docks and backstreets of London....

And without the Doctor, marooned in a time and place as alien as anything they've ever encountered, Steven and Sara may well face their greatest challenge yet. To live an ordinary life.

A great story from the classic era.

This was a great story. Set during the classic story Dalek Masterplan. It has companions Steven and Sara having an adventure mostly without the Doctor. Great aliens and a great story.

Steven and Sara Kingdom do Eastenders

At first I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this one, it all started off a bit Steven and Sara Kingdom do Eastenders but once all the alien menace became clear everything fell together beautifully and the characters all worked very well indeed. The Alien menace was entirely new and refreshingly original. As a more human story it was easier to follow than some of the Big Finish space gobbledegook sometimes can be with more emphasis on dialogue than lasers and music and monster voices.
A good one to listen too recommended
