Hilarious!
I was laughing out loud throughout much of this book. Bertie is easily one of my favorite characters. He's hilarious! What a character. <3 There were times I was vocally upset over Poppy's choices, but in the end, her choices turned out to be for the best, so I was happy again. My favorite book in the series so far!

Thouroughly Enjoyed One
I loved the descriptions of the gardens. So English.
The manor character was so ridiculous she seemed cartoonish. However this only added the lighthearted tone of the book. I really had a chuckle at some parts. Such imagination! This was just what I needed. I’m enjoying all of H.Y. Hanna stories, and Pearl Hewitt is the perfect narrator. Perfect voice for all of the stories. I look forward to listening to more!

Great series. Loads of fun.
A thoroughly enjoyable third book in the series.
The mystery had me guessing and I really enjoyed watching Poppy develop her business and become part of the community. I thought the idea of a scent garden for the dog was a cute and interesting idea.
I love the side characters in this series especially Bertie and Nick as well as their four legged friends.
This a fun series that gets better with every book.
I'm looking forward to reading book four.

Getting silly now
I’ve listened to the first 3 books in this series & although they are gentle & easy on the ear - thanks to the great narration of Pearl Hewitt - the stories are getting sillier. I specifically refer to Bertie & his stupid “inventions”. At first I found his eccentricity amusing but while listening to this book I found myself getting irritated with the ‘mechanical ants’ & ‘dog poo listening devices with authentic smell’.
Although I already purchased the 4th book in this series some time ago, I don’t think I’ll be buying any more.
