Publisher's Summary

A war was brewing within our borders.

Not a war with weapons, but one with words.

Until now. And so it begins....

The entire five-book terrorism thriller series is now available in a single boxed set.

Bobby Akart delivers up-all-night thrillers to listeners in 245 countries and territories worldwide. He has sold over one million books in all formats, which includes over 40 international bestsellers, in nearly 50 fiction and nonfiction genres.

The Doomsday series depicts America on the edge of societal collapse and destined for war.

As the story unfolds, it's New Year's Eve. As the ball drops in Times Square, Americans are preparing for a new year and a bright future. Instead, they find themselves fighting for their lives as the fuse has been lit that sends the country into chaos.

With political rancor at an all-time high, the war of words had escalated, and a political war erupts. Americans are caught in the crosshairs of societal unrest and a shadowy group stoking the fires of discontent burning in America. Words are replaced by weapons as neighbor turns on neighbor, and powerful forces stop at nothing to reshape a nation in turmoil.

America has become embroiled in something more than a clash of ideologies. She now faces a battle in which the blood of patriots and tyrants would be shed.

As Americans struggle to survive, some sought a place of safety where they could ride out the coming storm. However, even if they can overcome the threats confronting them, will they bear witness to an America hell-bent on destroying itself?

This is a story of a nation divided, on the cusp of a second civil war, and what that portends for our future. Remember, all empires collapse eventually, and America will be no exception.

Disturbing homage to Trump

While much of the premise of the book is disturbingly prescient, the distorted and as it has turned out, wildly inaccurate depiction of the Trump modeled President ruined this book

Very Disappointing

This story was both long-winded, and suffered from over explainers anonymous. And worst of all, Bobby made the infamous skull and bones Satanic cult from Yale into something that could be potentially positive to our nation! Sounds like he may have some strange affiliation with them. Anyone who’s done their homework about skull and bones knows their purpose is to infiltrate our government and corrupt it from within to fulfill their evil plans. I would tell anyone thinking about downloading this book to not bother.

Another great series!

I have really enjoyed reading my way through the author's books. Each new series leaves me scrambling to get another and this is no different. Fast paced. Great chatacter development.

unrealistic as it get but had potential

I did get to the end but it was a struggle. the narrator is ok but not for this book. the store really could be something but leaves out a lot of real life changes that i think the whole country would face in this scenario. the United States is bigger then the eastern sea board just saying. the store line lacks real meat its another good guy always win. there are a lot of good historical references. No one is a loud to drink unless they are with the guy who runs the place and then you are only allowed one haha. And it is another doomsday book were the prepars have a lot of money. just one i want to find a book where the hero is a normal person with no money and figures out how to make it though there own knowledge and whit. also there where many weapon mistakes. like calling a shotgun a rifle. nothing more disappointing than someone saying they know how to write about weapons and then getting all the names wrong. and then for people who have a ton of money to go shopping at Walmart and big lots. i mean come on you have all the money you need and you buy sub par equipment. And the talk about the dogs is way to much. best way to listen to this book is to get the whole set because i would never have purchased the next book in this set much less all of them individually. good luck and listen at your own risk.

Not what I expected

l was looking forward to a story about a group of survivalists building a sustainable community with lots of survival skills highlighted. What I got was a political story with lots of anarchy. Although not what I expected, I enjoyed the series and will continue reading this author. Narration was ok, even though he is awful at women and children characters. In his case less would be more.

Home run

For me Bobby Akart is hit and miss with his books. Doomsday was one of his home runs! There was much less time filler in this series compared to other series.

Realistic and Timely

Mr. Akart delivers once again. I’ve read most of what he has written and always find the content relevant, chilling, and well researched. The Doomsday Series is perhaps the series that I found hit closest to where we are today as a nation as the Leftest Socialist Party - aka. Democrats serve as the greatest threat to our great nation. Thank you Bobby Akart for demonstrating through these novels the real threat we as Americans face.

Typical post-apocalyptic rhetoric

I just couldn't drag myself through yet another stereotypical apocalyptic drone of lots of guns and lots of talking about guns and only prepper conservatives survive. Definitely NOT 'The Road', or any other far more realistic and riveting apocalyptic book.

I loved this series.

I was unable to put it down. I will be starting my next series tonight. The detail really brought the stories to life for me. A fun note for me I work on Coffer Rd. In Richmond Va.

Okay action book

It's relevant to the current political climate in the US and the divisions in society. I however found it difficult to relate to the characters. The protagonists are on the right of American politics, possibly what you call the alt right. As a liberal UK listener I couldn't root for the characters in the book.

Right wing facist politics glorified.

The Right Wing Facist views of the author are appalling. An apology for Trump.

Excellent book

This book was one of the best I've ever listened to. It couldn't have come at a better time.
