beautifully written!

As always i was hooked from page 1!
Telling the story of the mysterious alpha male slade and head strong diamond with twists and turns throughout the book.
Like all Jeanne's books the attention to detail and the way you fall into the story is amazing written as well as great narrator's with perfect voices to match the characters.
If sexy, mysterious and a truely great continuation from the previous books is what you love this is a must read!

Highly recommend

This book is fantastic. I love the Sex with an edge to it. These two characters are so perfect for each other! Great storyline, amazing characters and it leads into the next book perfectly. Well written as usual from Jeanne, and a brilliant performance from both narrators.

Great story

Where to start? I have read the whole series multiple times and heard so many good things about listening to the stories through audible so started last year and have been impressed with each and everyone of them, Jeanne St James is an amazing writer and each person chosen to narrate her stories do a great job of getting the emotions across.
Ava is just brilliant with great voices for each character.
Aaron has the perfect voice for Slade, definitely what I pictured while reading the book myself, strong and deep.
I love Slade and Diamond, the have a nitty, gritty romance with hardships and trouble to overcome.
Slade doesn't want an ol' lady and Diamond has always wanted to be one.
Would love to say more but can't as don't want to give away spoilers for those that haven't read or listened to the books.
Can't wait for the next book.
Definitely a must read and listen.

Another DAMC success

I love all the DAMC kindle books and gave started getting the audible books. I started with my favorites and Slade was 3rd on my list. I love his and Di's characters and the birthday seen had me laughing out loud. Definitely a must listen to book.

Di and Slade are awesome together!

Diamond is a biker girl all the way and she has a b&€chy attitude. Slade is a full member of the DAMC but he is a rolling stone. Together they are explosive but Slade has been keeping his distance. He doesn’t wanna be attached to anyone. Diamond just might change that! But in all the sexual tension there are also secrets between them. He is looking for something that he keeps to himself. And D is still suspicious of him. I really enjoyed this book. The series has so much potencial and every member has an interesting story but I think Slade’s and Diamond’s is the most twisted yet. I loved Diamond proving Slade and everyone else wrong. The end was a funny surprise!
The narrators are sooo good. They made the sexy pull through the story.

On Fire!

This is the first of this author that I have listened to and it makes me wish I had discovered her work sooner! I also wish I had read the other books in the series. It did pretty well as a standalone but I think it would have been so much better if I had gotten to know the other characters that are featured in this book too. I also think the events going on with the rival gang would have been easier for me to follow. Regardless, I though Slade and Diamond's relationship was super s. e. x. y. The author writes some very steamy scenes that are VERY well written. We also discover how Diamond and Slade's backgrounds are connected. I really enjoyed this author's writing and diving into this MC series!

I haven't listened to Ava Lucas before, but she has been on my list of narrators I want to listen to for a while now, and she did not disappoint! I have had the pleasure of listening to Aaron Shedlock as a narrator before and his voice is still super s. e. x. y and he is still one of my favorite Male narrator voices. These two set this super hot fast paced romance on fire. Absolutely great narration that made this an easy one setting listen.

Hot!

With fantastic narration performances from Ava Lucas and Aaron Shedlock, Slade's story in the Down and Dirty series is a great listen from start to finish. These growling, hard bodied and bossy men slowly finding love, is such fun. In Slade the dynamic between him and Diamond, is electric! As always Ava Lucas brings her warmth to the part as well as capturing the feistiness which is an intrinsic part of Di's character. Her voice range is excellent, pulling off the needed depth for male voices while also bringing lightness to the females. Aaron Shedlock makes a great Slade, again having a voice which is stong and expressive. Both narrators speak with clarity and great pace. A 5* story and audio.

Loved this!

Another great entry in this fantastic MC romance series. I’ve been looking forward to Slade and Diamond’s story and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Perfect blend of action, hot romance, and a touch or humor. Can’t wait for the next book! Fantastic narrators who really brought the characters and story to life. I am in love with this series, I wish I had time to sit and read as I just want so much more but I am so busy that audio is my only option so I will have to wait patiently. I want so much to have a favourite character in this series but I just love them all so much I can't choose. Slade and Diamond are such a great couple they are on an equal footing in all aspects and they are good for each other. This book has some great twists and turns and you find out some painful things at the end so I can't wait to see where the story goes. Jeanne St James just brings the MC to life and you feel a part of the story. I had a few almost tear moments in this one.

Ava Lucas is just amazing her male voice is so gravely and dark just perfect. I love her voice could listen all day. Aaron Shedlock is one of my go to narrators I adore his voice and his story telling so together they are hot to trot.

I enjoy that in these books you get to follow up with some past characters and hearing some good news from some. I can't wait to have all the books in the series so I can start from the beginning again and listen one after the other.x
