Publisher's Summary

Loyalty is the deadliest sin

Everything has been one elaborate lie. My name. My identity. My entire existence. Brody Harcourt exposed me as a fraud, turning me from a queen into a pariah. Now there will be hell to pay.

But I'm back for more than revenge.

More than blood. My eye is on the prize.

The Carrera throne. I'll win the kingpin's trust at any cost…even if it means crossing enemy lines alongside Houston's political pin-up boy. But things don't always go as planned.

Sometimes a queen has to steal her crown. And the one man she can never have…becomes the only one she wants.

Amazing

Drawn Blue Lines is such an outstanding story. Cora did such an outstanding job building this world. I absolutely loved everything about this story.I highly recommend everyone to check out this book.the narrators did a wonderful job telling the story and brought the characters to life.i highly recommend everyone to check this series out.

Adrianna is lost. Everything that she thought she knew is a lie, and she is going after the one who made everything crumble around her, Brody Harcourt. I'm not gonna lie, I have a hard core crush on Adrianna. She is EVERYTHING that I love about a heroine. She is strong and not afraid to go after what she wants, she makes no excuses for who she is and man, when she loves, she loves DEEP. The growth of her character throughout this entire book is amazing. She is ready to take what she is owed and what has been stolen from her, and she isn't afraid to play dirty.

Now... Brody... OHH Boy... I didn't know that he had all that bad boy alpha in him from the previous books! Brody is broken, he feels that he has let all the women in his life down and he doesn't know how to redeem himself, or if he even wants too. Adrianna comes strutting back into his life, and he just can't resist her, but he is going to play by his own rules. Brody is SMOKING hot. I LOVED his character as well. To watch him go from just basically giving up and making stupid choices, to finding who he is again with Adrianna, and learning to live again was amazing and I loved every step of it!

Brody and Adrianna together are a fierce couple. I love how they were made for each other, and how together, they were able to pull themselves through all the crap in their pasts and move on together (with lots of hot scenes as well)

Just Phenomenal!

Whoa! This story blew me away! These stories are so involved! I was thinking it would go one way then BAM—here is a new twist! I was shocked, surprised, angered and really just loved it! The characters are divine! Perfectly evil and protective at the same time. The female lead just is an impressive woman. Everything she has gone through and how twisted her mind can be….just wow! Of course then there is Harcourt..the man we love to hate? Well he really can play both sides and I loved how he grew and changed throughout the story

Overall this is another for my favorites list! I did listen to this on audio. The narration is perfectly done and really led me further into believing these characters

Wrenching enemies to lovers, forbidden, mafia romance

The backstory to this enemies to lovers story is heartbreaking. Adriana’s life is upended and completely unraveled by a devastating secret - one she blames Brody for revealing. And now she wants her revenge, and her rightful place in the Carerra cartel - no easy task on either front. Brody’s life has spiraled out of control recently, and he finds his only solace at the bottom of a bottle, until he meets Adriana. Except she’s the enemy, and more than that, she’s forbidden fruit. But they are forced to work together to prove their loyalty to the Cartel and take care of the threats that have been looming from an unknown enemy to them all.

Their banter is excellent, snarky and sexy. Adriana is no stranger to the cartel life, she’s a complete bada$$ in her own right, and she doesn’t let Brody forget it. And Brody, despite his recent lieutenant status in the Carrera cartel, is completely dejected and miserable - his inner dialog as he grapples with his feelings for Adriana is quite amusing at times. And their explosive chemistry, when they finally can’t fight it anymore, well, it’s definitely highly charged. Despite their apparent hate for each other, they develop a strong bond that neither of them realizes until it’s too late, and there’s no going back. There’s deep passion - of every kind, and they sizzle together.

The narration is excellent. Stacy Gonzalez is perfect as Adriana — she has the absolute right voice for the character. And Alan Carlson brings Brody and all his turbulent emotions to life beautifully.

Ack

I have listened to several Cora Kenborn audiobooks now. I love them. This is the last of this trilogy and I didn't want to pause it when needed. The twists and turns were keeping me glued to the story. This will be the first time I disliked a main character, but loved the book. I couldn't wait for Brody's story. I wanted so much for him. Adriana was not who I would have chosen, but she couldn’t have been more perfect. She was hard, stubborn, and looking out for herself...until she wasn’t. What a great ending.

Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson are excellent narrators. They were perfect for this book. They brought the characters to life and it rolled like a movie in my head.

When Your Biggest Regret Turns Into Your Salvation

Title: Drawn Blue Lines
Author: Cora Kenborn
Format: Audio
Narrators: Stacy Gonzalez, Alan Carlson
Genre: Romance, dark, mafia, enemies to lovers, suspense
Standalone: Yes but better if you read the first first two books first (especially book one)
Part of a Series: Book 3 (of 3) in the Carrera Cartel series
POV: Adriana and Brody
Steam Level: Toasty at times
5/5

Drawn Blue Lines is the final book in the Carrera Cartel series. While technically a standalone I highly recommend reading the whole series as events are referenced in this book. However, Cora Kenborn does a great job catching new readers up to speed without it being repetitive to those who have already read the earlier books. Drawn Blue Lines is Brody's HEA and it's with the most unlikely of people. Adriana is bent on revenge but gets more than she bargained for. Drawn Blue Lines was full of action, suspense, twists, betrayals, and intelligent characters with smart mouths. I would have listened to this book straight through if I could but at the same time I didn't want it to end. Cora Kenborn is an amazing writer and Drawn Blue Lines is just what I needed. Brody and Adriana fight each other, themselves and together. Both are redeemed and are incredibly strong. I didn't see many of the twists which, to me, makes a great suspense book. I've been reading mystery/suspense/thrillers almost my entire life and I usually see twists coming a mile away but not with this series or Drawn Blue Lines in particular. Amazing.

Favorite Quotes:
Maybe challenging God wasn't the smartestt move but recklessness had quickly become my drug of choice.
I told him one that the eyes are windows to the soul. But the heart was the doorway to sin. To survive I had to close both.
Salvation comes in many forms. Sometimes it's in the shape of your biggest regret.

I received this audiobook from Pink Flamingo Productions and Audiobook Obsessions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Amazing Trilogy!

This is the third and last book in the excellent Carrera Cartel Trilogy, a dark mafia romance. This is a series of standalone romances, and it's recommended to listen to this series in order for a better enjoyment. You won't regret it. Adriana and Brody's story is suspenseful, filled with mystery, danger, action, and twists and turns. Adriana is reckless, sassy, strong, and smart. Brody is handsome, dominant, and protective. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. I liked their banter. The cast of supporting characters is impressive, and I loved to see again the characters from the first books. The storyline is captivating, and the world building is complex, and intriguing. I love the family ties in this series. This is a great mafia romance, and a fantastic slow burn romance. Alan Carlson and Stacy Gonzalez did an amazing job with the narration. They are perfect as Adriana and Brody. I enjoyed it. I loved this Series, and I can't believe this is already the end. I need more! #PinkFlamingoProductions #AudiobookObsession

Adriana's Strory

I was waiting for Adrianna's story and I was not disappointed one bit!!!

Adrianna is out for revenge but instead ends up in love.

Our man Brody finally "grows up" as well.

Stacy Gonzalez really brought Adriana to life for me and Alan Carlson was great coming back from book 1 to give life to Brody.

Audio ARC provided by Pink Flamingo Productions and I decided to leave an honest review.

Carrara Cartel book 3

Wow this one was a roller coaster ride of emotions. Lots of twists and turns that kept my attention right through the audiobook. Cora Kenborn is amazing at writing suspenseful stories and the narration of this one was amazing.

Stacy Gonzalez of course has the Spanish accent to carry off Adrianna’s strong willed attitude and her smouldering hot scenes with Brody. At times I wished I could I understand Spanish 🤓. Alan’s performance as Brody was really realistic, and I was happy to hear Brody’s story and hear more of what made him go from being the ADA to a kingpin in the Carrera Cartel and how he ruthlessly defends Adrianna, Alan Carlson was awesome as Brody. This was another amazing audiobook in this series and I loved Cora’s cartel world.

My Thoughts on Drawn Blue Lines

Brody and Adriana's story was everything I wanted and more. It was full of surprising twists and turns. Mind blowing secrets. And of course the sexy romance and love I crave.

I loved how tough and confident Adriana was while also being vulnerable and having a hard life. Brody has developed so well over the series and by the end of this book I was rooting for him and so happy he found love.

Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson hit it out if the park with the narration on this one. Both of them really nailed it in my opinion with the accents. And their performance through out was so energetic and thrilling that it keep me listening and not wanting to stop.

I can't wait to get more from this author and both the narrators.

Gritty and Dramatic

I love mafia and I love Cora Kenborn, I have been obsessed with the Carerra Cartel. In books 1 and 2 I thought Brody was a pushover, a "softy" and DEFINITELY not cut out for Cartel life... BUT boy did he show his true colors in this book! He was alpha, take charge, and really showed his potential. I was concerned with how the book started out that my suspicions of him would be proven right, but I was thankfully wrong!

Brody is a lieutenant now, he is second in command and is running all stateside operations for Val. When Adrianna seeks him out he knows it won't end well but he has to do something. Things are getting out of hand and he needs to find the people responsible.

I did not expect all the flair and drama and betrayal, but I should have. I mean it's Cora after all and she has yet to disappoint. However, I do think she saved the best for last. I loved Valentin so much and Matteo was fire but seeing Brody transform throughout the books and start taking command and showing how he can step up and be a man.... Left. Me. Panting!

I was on the fence about Adrianna I wanted to trust her and wanted to see the good but I felt so hot and cold about her. Then the more that happened the more I was afraid I was going to get blindsided.. Needless to say I was on edge and loved it. The thrill and the excitement, that's what I love about books, I love when they suck you in and tap dance on your emotions.

Stacy Gonzales did amazing on the accent and the attitude, she sold the "queen vibes" big time! Alan Carlson did amazing as well. Their voices were so smooth and easy to listen to I loved it.

I received this audiobook via a promo code at my request and this is my voluntary review.

This is the third book in the series, each CAN be enjoyed as a standalone but it definitely adds depth if you follow the series order to understand the significance of Brody and Adrianas link to one another. In the true rule of all third installments of a trilogy, a great story always circles back to the beginning and makes you question everything you thought you knew.

Brody Harcort is screwed... his boss has just found out that he's been making deals outside of cartel business and someone is stealing their shipments

24 years ago, Marisol Munos was forged to become the destruction of the Carrera Cartel, safe in the background, passing around her orders like a general, she was used to playing the game of survival amongst men who were more like animals. She had been plotting revenge for the death of her brother Manuel until Brody makes a move that leaves her completely exposed... as Adriana Carrera, the supposedly dead sibling of her enemy and then she's on the run from her own Cartel. Now firmly labelled as one of the enemy, she has no choice but to use the only power move she has left.. embracing her true name and reclaiming her place at Valentins side and unmask the hands running her former empire before the wolves nipping at her heels and she doesn't escape this time.

As mention before.... Brody Harcort is *definitely* screwed... Those deals outside of cartel business mean he's deep in the hole and his Cartel boss has found out, the only hope he has got to save his gringo ass, is to travel to Mexico on a near suicide mission with his bosses newly resurrected sister and uncover all the secrets of the man whose name she still refuses to share. He has to accept that he's as dirty as his corrupt Politian mother in the end., He knows he's got enough blood on his hands now that he'll never be innocent no matter how many hustles he makes.... and that he cant keep those hands off the woman he shouldn't trust as far as he could toss her around his bedroom.

I absolutely loved the narration, the performance for Adriana in particular was fantastic.

Dark Mafia Romance

Drawn Blue Lines by Cora Kenborn is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson.

This is the third book in the Carrera Cartel Trilogy and each book can be read as standalone. However, for maximum enjoyment, it's recommended that you read them in order.

I absolutely love Cora's books! I was hooked from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adriana and Brody. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Stacy and Alan did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend his book to anyone who loves mafia/cartel romances, dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, or romantic suspense.

This book is edgy and dark, it is still sexy and all the feels a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
