Publisher's Summary

A month in a remote cabin with the last man I ever expected to see again? I can’t decide if I should punch him or drill him. it might end up being both.

After more than a decade, the last person I expected to see walk into the Four Bears Construction offices as a new hire was Ridge.

He was my first crush, and my first heartbreak when he started dating my sister. When he left her at the altar without so much as a note, I wrote him off for good.

No amount of excuses and explanations can erase what he did. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. But when we end up being sent to a remote campground alone to spend a month rebuilding the cabins, it’s too easy to remember why I fell for him in the first place.

I know the guys are all taking bets on how long it takes us to start playing with each other’s tools.

It’s going to be a long month.

Drilled is a forced proximity, best friends-to-enemies-to-lovers, hilarious and steamy, final book in the Four Bears Construction series. It can be read as a stand alone but you won't want to miss this whole hilarious and hot series. No bear shifters, only the other kind of burly, hairy bears.

Great ending to a series.

I love the 4 bears construction series, from the beginning in book 1 to the 7th book. Only thing I didn't like/care for was the parts about the stray cat in this story. Not a fan of cats, yuck. Lol I loved the characters Apollo and Ridge and their story of rekindling an old friendship and sparking it into a relationship with each other. Other then that, I wish the story was longer. Love, love, love it. ❤

fantastic!!

This was fantastic and I’m so sad to listen the end of a fantastic series!! I loved seeing grumpy Apollo get his HEA! Ridge is sunshine to Apollo’s grumpy!! One of my favorite troupes! I loved how they put a value on their friendship, it was important to them. It’s snarky and funny, sweet and steamy, I absolutely loved it!! Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo did a fantastic job with the dual narration, loved it!!

One of my favorite in the series

The minute I saw Ridge and Apollo appear in an earlier book in the series I knew I wanted their story and this didn’t disappoint. The narrators did a great job as well.

Bitter sweet

Story: This book was awesome! I loved Apollo from the get go and I loved seeing his grumpy behind fall in love again. Or rather find the love back. The use tropes and the execution of the story were brilliant and on par with other books in the series. Great writing as always.
While the story was awesome, I am sorryvtonsee the series end! The team K.M. Neuhold created was amazing and so lovable! Hope we get to see them in some shorts at least!
Narration: Both narrators did an awesome job with this one! I loved every second of the audio!

Brill

This is a brilliantly fun and steamy book as we finally get to know Ridge and Apollo’s background and how budding chemistry wins when in forced proximity. There are the usual tricks from the crew of the four bears.

Good for this genre

Within this genre, this was a good book. I like the characters in this series, and hope we get to have books about the mechanics at some point.

Bears in the woods finally sort their issues!

When Ridgeway jilts Apollo’s sister on their wedding day with no explanation, Pol punches Ridge in the face and walks away from their friendship, never to speak again. 15 years later, they are both employed by Four Bears Construction and are sent a month-long job at a remote camp where the two are forced to confront their past and their feelings for each other. I liked the idea but felt like both 40 yr-old men hadn’t grown up much in this enemies-to-lovers / second chances series final - they’d rather bonk than sort their issues and this had more bonk than plot. I also thought the family resolutions seemed way too glib. Anyway, it was nice to see the whole Four Bears gang in multiple scenes and I enjoyed their teasing, pranks, and male camaraderie - these have mostly been very likeable guys in a fun, steamy series. Audio narrators Tim Paige (as Pol) and Liam DiCosimo (as Ridge) have generally been a great pairing throughout the series and they are again here.
