Publisher's Summary

An intoxicating and sparkling new romance by New York Times bestselling author Jasmine Guillory.

Margot Noble needs some relief from the stress of running the family winery with her brother. Enter Luke: sexy, charming, and best of all in the too-small world of Napa, a stranger. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and Margot is delighted that she lucked into the perfect one-night stand she’ll never have to see again. That is, until the winery’s newest hire, Luke, walks in the next morning. Margot is determined to keep things purely professional, but when their every interaction reminds her of the attraction still bubbling between them, it proves to be much more challenging than she expects.

Luke Williams had it all, but when he quits his high-salary tech job in Silicon Valley in a blaze of burnout and moves back to Napa to help a friend, he realizes he doesn’t want to tell the world—or his mom—why he’s now working at a winery. His mom loves bragging about her successful son—how can he admit that the job she’s so proud of broke him? Luke has no idea what is next for him, but one thing is certain: he wants more from the incredibly smart and sexy woman he hooked up with—even after he learns she’s his new boss. But even if they can find a way to be together that wouldn’t be an ethical nightmare, would such a successful woman really want a tech-world dropout?

Set against a lush backdrop of Napa Valley wine country, nothing goes to your head as fast as a taste of love—even if it means changing all your plans.

Too much!

I’ve genuinely enjoyed all of Jasmine Guillory’s previous novels, but this one was a huge miss for me. Too much graphic sexy time, not enough storyline. I really enjoy her ability to build sexual tension between her characters, but I don’t want to feel like a voyeur in their bedroom! I hope her next books return to her roots of witty storytelling with strong female characters.

It was the voices

I usually fall head over heels for a Jasmine Guilllory book but the voices on this one weren’t warm and inviting. It was hard to connect to the story. I usually finish her books in 2 days I forgot about it for 2 weeks. I wanted to love it. I feel like I would with different voices.

Drunk on Book

Easy read with no content, fun and care free! The narrators were bland.

I would recommend the book.

A toast well deserved

I really enjoyed this book and Ms. Guillory never disappoints. The female narrator was a little annoying her voice sounded juvenile not that of a mature woman. I'm ready for the next one.

Loved it!

Margot and Luke, couldn’t get enough. Their fast and sure love story flows. They just have to find a way to get their careers to fit before it wrecks them. Won’t ruin it. Read yourself to find out if and how they do. Well written. Good reading.

Unlike good wine, this was hard to finish

Being a huge fan of Jasmine who has read all of her books, I was eager to read this one set in Napa Valley, where I live and work. Jasmine nailed the wine industry portion but the story dragged on too long with Luke and his immaturity, which bored me. Had I been reading the book, I probably would not have finished. But listening to it on Audible then it was easier to just have it playing in the background while I worked out and did housework. Thankfully the narration was better than it was in Jasmine’s last book but was still a little off.

great modern romance

I loved it. I especially lived the fact that she dealt with a relationship with a younger and as I always attract younger men. I also liked the non traditional jobs. it was a great read.

Not my Fav

Story line was just okay and the narration left much to be desired. As a huge fan this fell short on my list.
