Publisher's Summary

Newark, New Jersey District Attorney Anthony Jacobs is confident of the witnesses and associates he has gathered to testify and vows to bring to justice Bernard James, Jr., Newark’s most notorious gangster.

James, also known in the streets as “Dutch”, is noted to be the most dangerous criminal to come up in Jersey in the last 30 years. From his experience and skill as a young car thief, Dutch recognized the opportunity to become the ruler of the streets and seized it.

Feared by all, and completely fearless, Dutch and his dangerous clique take over the lucrative heroin trade from the clutches of Nigerian drug lord Ojiugo Kazami. With both the respect and protection of the Italian Mafia, Dutch becomes the most terrifying force on the streets.

Now he’s on trial for allegedly masterminding what the press has dubbed “The Month of Murder”, a brutal, 30-day, killing spree where none were spared. With Dutch facing multiple life sentences and a possible death penalty, the streets are in a mixed uproar of celebration and dread. Will this be the end of Dutch’s reign of terror or just the beginning?

Where have all the good writers gone ?

Story is good just wish writers would not use the languages they do enjoyed books much more when I didn't have to hear f this f that all through the book . I'm really starting to see the differences between the good writers and the so-so writers. I have even seen this in favorite writers I have enjoyed for years all of a sudden they don't know HOW to write anymore. Good writers don't need to use trash talk to put feeling into their storys.

Another Good One

I liked Dutch. I found myself cheering for him. His occupation wasn't normal. He still cared about others people.

Undecided At First

Didn't think I was going to make it to the end but by the time I got to chapter 5 I was all in. Now I can't wait to get into part 2. Over the past few years I had gotten away from these gritty street novels because I was tired of all the senseless murders,, the set ups, the drug selling and the exploitation of young women and girls,, but I've got to see how this one ends. I will definitely have to go on a FAST again after this trilogy but I gotta see what happens. I've read a few of Terri Woods' books before and as always she did not disappoint. Well written and great narrator. Well done.
