Publisher's Summary

This audiobook could best be described as a lab manual with simple experiments that prove reality is malleable, consciousness trumps matter, and you shape your life with your mind. Yes, you read that right. It says prove. The nine experiments, each of which can be conducted with absolutely no money and very little time expenditure, demonstrate that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton's laws of motion. Rather than take it on faith, E-Squared invites you to prove the following principles:

  • There is an invisible energy force or field of infinite possibilities
  • You impact the field and draw from it according to your beliefs and expectations
  • Your connection to the field provides accurate and unlimited guidance
  • The universe is limitless, abundant, and strangely accommodating

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Enjoyable overall, but the 'proof' was a bit shaky

I am convinced that we create our reality and was so before reading this book. Pam Grout is an excellent writer, an enjoyable narrator and quite the humorist. The book was enjoyable. The experiments, however, didn't really work well for me. I didn't do all of them, but those I did do had zero or sketchy results. This is all perfectly fine with me. I still believe that we are attracting our reality 100 percent of the time. I do believe, however, that in order to manifest you need to feel consistent positive emotion around that which you are hoping for. Most of the experiments involved things I didn't really give a hoot about one way or another, so that may have affected my ability to pull them in. Also, giving a 48 hour timeline added, to me, an element of pressure for the universe to perform. A little anxiety in wondering if it would manifest in time to "count." So likely I was sabotaging the process a bit in my anxiousness (albeit slight.)

In any case, I still really enjoyed the book. Mostly due to the author's explanations of the concepts, as well as her good humor, but less enthused about the experiments.

I was absolutely amazed!

Would you consider the audio edition of E-Squared to be better than the print version?

I have read it all, or so I thought. CWG started this process for me 15 years ago, Esther Hicks, Seth, ect. have all placed interesting perspectives to what my "gut" has been telling me was correct yet society has yet to acknowledge in the larger scheme of it.
I eagerly took on experiment 1 (love her humor and delivery) and believe it, or believe it, within 1 hour and 45 minutes I received a phone call advising me that I had won a an all expence paid cruise (minus tax, gambling, and gratuities)- Not a scam, as I have verified that one. I am thrilled to have put myself within this information and am very grateful to you Pam.. You are changing the lives and opinions of people and it is absolutely fantastic to have the sense of this type of freedom!

Food for thought

Would you try another book from Pam Grout and/or Pam Grout?

I enjoyed this book and the correlation with the spiritual part of life. I thought the experiments were a unique process for the readers. I confess trying a few with no result, though I'm a big believer.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

One negative would be the author reading her own work. Need to have a professional narrate to add meaning.

Positive Thinking, God and the Universe made easy

An easy listen with easy to follow instructions.
Actually had to put it aside when my first exercise worked so impactfully and give it a think. Put the Bible's instructions to love and stay on the positive side of the world in thought and deed - in a whole new light.
Love this book. would give it 4.5 if I could.

Changed my life

Any additional comments?

E squared was such an inspiring book. Pam puts things into perspective for the most skeptical readers. The experiments are easy to follow and 3 of my experiments manifested in one day. Imagine the possibilities! Highly recommend!

Horrible, negative analogy for a self builder

Would you try another book from Pam Grout and/or Pam Grout?

I will not listen to this woman nag any more. She nags all through the book. Every analogy is laced with negativity! I have listened to many many self help and self builders but. no matter what is in this book to me there is more negative than I want to deal with.

Would you recommend E-Squared to your friends? Why or why not?

Never, never, never.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

To many negative analogies. This book is supposed to be uplifting and positive. The author is nagging through the book in my opinion. I listen to many positive authors and she does not fit in thier league at all in my opinion.

Did E-Squared inspire you to do anything?

No, it made me upset. Quite upset at times. It seems that she "plants" the wrong words a lot.

Any additional comments?

I can't stand this book. I would tell all my friends not to waste their money on it.
I think this book was a waste of nag time.

Really Amazing

Where does E-Squared rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its in the Top 10

What was one of the most memorable moments of E-Squared?

The very first exercise was memorable for me, I had amazing results

Any additional comments?

I got this audiobook on Monday. Tuesday (yesterday) I listened to it on my way to work and did the first exercise. I didn't even really pay it much mind, just set the intention and let it be. On my drive home from work, my ex husband called and invited me over for dinner (not unusual) However, what was unusual was that he gave me $1,000. Because "I want to" He said.
(((((my jaw dropped)))) I was so thankful and grateful and in absolute awe of this blessing.
The next day, my favorite brand of milk's company sent me an email thanking me for a review I'd left a long time ago, and is sending me free product. I'm 24 hours into my 48 hours, and just wow.
Unbelievable Pam, thank you for this book as well. Amazing!!!

This Was Fun!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

While I was listening to this book, I did all the exercises and positive things happened for me. One day as I was walking down the hallway at work, I FOUND a $50.00 bill. Coincidence or was it because I changed my focus and expected good things to happen? I don't know. But this was fun! I'm going to listen to it again!

Moving from reading to doing!

Where does E-Squared rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The best.

What did you like best about this story?

I've read quite a few books on the Law of Attraction but none of them helped me to practice it in the way that these nine experiments did.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely!

Any additional comments?

Because of this book, I've been able shift my energy from a needy position to 'abracadabra'. I've recommended this to friends all over the world.

The next step after The Secret

Would you listen to E-Squared again? Why?

Yes, and I do, on about the fourth time around at present. Firstly, it's read at a gallop so I felt I hadn't quite grasped it in the first listen and secondly, it's a work in progress and it's good to go over it time and again so that I grasp it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of E-Squared?

All of it was. Especially when you see your own results when doing the experiments. It's just so exciting!

What about Pam Grout’s performance did you like?

Well, as great as she is I'm afraid I found her reading style difficult. She reads far too fast, I had to keep rewinding as I would miss what she said, not ideal when your driving.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I bought the book on Kindle with Whispersync. There is a lot to take in and I'm still listening. Fourth time around, but I don't mind as I really want to 'get it'.

Any additional comments?

Can't wait for E3 to be out on Kindle and Whisper Sync.

A different experience to some other reviewers.

Having been disappointed with The Secret (too wishy-washy for me) I was a little reluctant to download E Squared especially after some criticism of the authors presentation. However the phrase 'practical and scientific experiments' finally persuaded me to read it.
It only goes to show that we are all different.
I found Pam Grout to have a delightful delivery and a droll sense of humour as she goes through the eight experiments. Her anecdotes reflect the anticipated outcomes one might expect and help to set a positive attitude to achieve success.
I set up experiment one at 9.30 this morning and at 5.30 this evening was given a surprise gift! Result! Tomorrow I will start experiment two... Can't wait.

The most awful reader I have ever heard.

Would you try another book written by Pam Grout or narrated by Pam Grout?

Definitely not

Has E-Squared put you off other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Pam Grout’s performances?

Definitely not - she reads as though she has a time limit - not at all relaxing. I listened to about 10 minutes of her book and couldn't stand it any longer. She sounded as though she was in a race to see how fast she could read a set number of words.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger and annoyance at the quality of the reader and disappointment as I was looking forward to listening to the book.

Any additional comments?

Maybe it was cheaper for the author to read it but she should have had some lessons before she did it, and listened to the experts. I am totally not interested in the book at all now - she has ruined for me what could have been a good book - I will never know as I am not going to listen to it.

Not so sure

Interesting to listen to but similar to the book the Secret it makes it seem like you can just magic anything you want. I have an open mind I even tried the experiments just to see but nothing happened.

Thought Provoking.

This is a short book that is based on the principles discussed in books like 'The Secret'. Essentially this is about attracting the things that you want into your life by calling on a higher power. This book goes a little further than others I have heard on attraction, as there are a number of time-limited experiments that you complete to prove your thoughts create reality.

I agree with the principles, particularly those on gratefulness and positive thinking, but the experiments did not work for me. Still waiting for my cashmere hat and scarf which I was suppose to be attracting and should have arrived by now! Christmas post maybe?

The narration in the book was good and held my attention. Although I originally brought this book thinking it was a business book, I was not disappointed when I found it was more of a spiritual book. Definitely thought-provoking and it is backed up with scientific explanations.

Not bad, not great

Some great experiments to test manifesting however I found the narration too fast so it was difficult to absorb a lot of the content. Will have to listen to it a few times I think. Also some of the expressions the author uses are a bit dramatic/negative like joking about suicide - just found those a bit ‘off’. Other then that not bad. Bit on the short side for the price.

Fail at experiment 1

Darn! I was recommended this book and was so excited to download it and start reading it. I went into the first experiment like a super-excited kid on Christmas Day, about to unwrap their first present. I was super clear on my intention for experiment number one… sent it out to the universe… Waited… 48 hours passed… And nothing happened! A miserable fail. Tried experiment #2.... fail. Clearly I have zero connection to the ‘Dude’. I feel so duped. I have always believed in the higher power, universal energy, the ‘Force’ ... and am now questioning my belief. Feel like a bit of an idiot now. $27 down ... and emotionally destroyed. Damn!
