Definitely worth buying.
I’m satisfied with this book. I got it so I can study before the NREMT test. It seems like it’s really well done and the key code is still new so I can take the practice test. The book came in sooner than expected. Once I pass my test I’ll review more, but definatetly it’s a book to have with you and at the station so you can go back and review.

Didn't even bother to check pronunciation...
The content is fine, but the narrator is so bad it makes the read impossibly painful. He obviously made no attempt at pronouncing medical terminology and clearly doesn't understand what he's reading. It makes the book useless. I find myself zoning out and then cringing when he says things like "j"ynocology.

ATROCIOUS PRONUNCIATION RUINS GOOD EMT RESOURCE
I own thousands (!) of Audible.com titles.
The content of this EMT review is superb: As far as I am concerned it delivers on its promise, if only in that respect.
But as for the narrator, I cannot for the life of me figure out why Audible hired him, nor fathom why this abominably narrated medical title made it to market.
The narrator does know how to read. He has a pleasant voice, appropriately modulates and varies the rhythm and pitch of his delivery, and would be pleasant enough to listen to (no mean feat for a dense medically oriented textbook) were it not for one humongous, FATAL DEFICIT: This man lacks even basic competence when it comes to educated English pronunciation.
Not rare are his mistakes; they occur every third sentence and their nature more than tries this listeners patience — I swear they almost make my ears bleed.
It isn’t merely medical terms that the narrator butchers (e.g.,, meninges rendered as “MEN-GEENS”), but everyday, fourth-grade words. I have very high tolerance for foreign-accented English, and have quite enjoyed working with, being taught by, and being treated by medical providers from around the world — but this native English speaker appears to have a serious speech disorder and/or dyslexia, such that on many occasions he even inserts nonsense syllables into everyday words.

Good information HORRENDOUS narration.
Great information, however the audiobook narration needs to be redone. Nearly every medical term is mispronounced to the point of it being a distraction. I understand sensitivity to disabilities and equal opportunity for all ,but someone selling a medical book should consider having a narrator than can pronounce all the terms used in the book.

Good but.... THIS GUY CAN'T PRONOUNCE ANYTHING.
It was a great overall review to help prepare for an exam. That being said the narrator will mispronounce or misuse IMPORTANT words throughout the entire thing.
