Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

"Unabridged" Doesn't Mean "49-Minute Infomercial For the Book"
Maybe I didn't read carefully, but when I saw "Earl Nightingale Reads Think and Grow Rich" with UNABRIDGED in capital letters, I thought I was getting an unabridged recording of the book. No: this is basically an infomercial for the book. Do not buy.

NOT Think and Grow Rich 😡
Do not buy. Waste of money and a waste of 45 minutes of your time...since that is all it is. I should have looked at the length before I purchased, normally I do, but I was so excited by how cheap it was I bought it. Because if you look at the cover, it says NOTHING about the fact that it is not the book. It says Think and Grow Rich read by Earl...
Very angry and I will be contacting Audible about correcting this. Also, because when I did finally find the ACTUAL book, it said it was not available for purchase. WTF.
