Good dark, sexy listen

I listen to this audio and really enjoyed it. It’s a good story with lots of passion and definitely some hard-core sex. The Secrets and twist kept me guessing and the narrator did a fantastic job of playing both parts. The characters are well developed and I believed in the pain that both of the characters were feeling as well as the deep dark passion they both shared. Can’t wait for the next one.

Twisted, revenge cliffhanger!

I really enjoyed this story but beware it's a cliffy. Not a terrible cliffy but it does feel like it kind of cuts off abruptly. This book was dark and twisty with lots of secrets and deception. I liked most of the characters a lot but Brighton was a little far fetched for me. Either your innocent or your not, she went from innocent to NOT innocent in 2 seconds and it just wasn't realistic to me. Also the characters names were difficult because Brighton & Brayden sound a lot a like when listening to the audiobook and I kept having to figure out who they were talking about. I loved Ryland and was very happy to finally get his background story and it just made me like him even more. I will definitely be listening to book 2 when it comes out on audio!

Tracy Marks is a fabulous narrator. I love the inflection from characters to character.

A PERFECT LISTEN FROM AN A* AUTHOR

All the previous glowing 5 star reviews sum up this intense, riveting and addictive listen very well so all I can add is that it was such a joy to be able to go straight to book 2 after the cliffhanger ending of book 1. I've loved all of A. Zavarelli's previous books.. but surely this Duet has got to be her best and most impressive work to-date.

This Duet is deliciously dark, it's smoking h.h.h.hot, it's wickedly intense, it's got shocking twists, it's perfectly paced, it's temptingly twisted, it's got gripping suspense, it's filled with sensational secrets, it's got a sexy Alpha Billionaire whose emotions run deep and Tracy Marks did a fantastic job bringing each pulse-pounding chapter to life. And book 2 adds danger, romance, passion, heartache, character growth and a sweet HEA.

Worth a credit? Yes absolutely.

A. Zavarelli ~ Queen of Dark Romance!

PHEW......THAT WAS INTENSE!!!

A. Zavarelli delivers another pulse pounding intense dark romance. True to her style, she doesn't hold back..... not one little bit. I love her stories, but have to mentally prepare before diving in. I know it's going to be a bumpy ride, filled with intense edge of your seat suspense, emotions that are all over the place, pleasure and pain sex, and plot twists you won't see coming! As with any good Zavarelli's story, she really puts her characters through the ringer with tortured pasts, secrets, and lives who will cross paths, and intertwine in mysterious ways. This tale of revenge was dark, twisted, and I was totally mesmerized.... couldn't stop listening, even if I wanted too!

The narration was awesome! Tracy really knows how to capture all the dark emotions, bring the characters to life, and suck the listener right in.

While Echo ends on a cliffhanger, it's a great story, and start to new series, but prepare yourself, this story's filled with dark desires, pushes boundaries, and delivers some really steamy sex scenes (Contains some BDSM). I can't wait for the next book to be released in audio. I received this audio in exchange for an honest review; however, it's well worth a credit, and another awesome KU/whispersync deal!

Ms. Zavarelli...Billionaire hotness overload

What did you love best about Echo: A Dark Billionaire Romance?

I loved the characters. They were so real and lifelike. I hated missing a single minute of this book. It was like listening to my favorite movie without being able to see it. I didn't want to work or speak to anyone. My bluetooth died three times just from me listening to this book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Echo: A Dark Billionaire Romance?

I think the most memorable moment for me was in the very beginning. Ryland kissing Brighton. She was only 16 but she knew then that he was it for her. We didn't know what he was thinking until long into the story and by then his thoughts at that moment were skewed. It was beautifully tragic and sad. Such a poignant moment.

What does Tracy Marks bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Oh...the voices. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when she does her recordings. She is one of the most talented character/voice actors. I've listened to almost every single one of A. Zavarelli's books and will be looking for the rest of the books Tracy has narrated.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Ryland's plan for revenge almost cost him the most in his life. I don't want to say anymore because I don't give spoilers but the author and narrator will know what I'm referring to. Tears and sobs...well done and delivered beautifully.

Fall in love with your rapist...yea...

Hideous, disgusting...female falls in love with her avenging abductor and rapist without a fight. I would have returned it but felt obligated to review for others whom this type of story may offend.

Very dark romance

This is indeed a very dark and twisted romance. The story centers around a set of twins caught up in the middle of two mafia families. Brighton the girl is loved by the son of the other family and her twin brother is in a battle with him. There are many dark sex scenes in the story and even though it is more than eight hours long it ends with a cliffhanger. I got this ARC via audiobook boom

Dark, twisted, and oh so sexy!

Wickedly dark and twisted, Echo is a wild ride of smoking hot sex mixed in with a bit of suspense and intrigue. It's a brilliant revenge drama that explores what happens when love gets in the way of dark intentions. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!

I'll skip the breakdown since so many other reviewers have covered the main points and just tell you that I loved this dark romance!

Here's what I absolutely loved:
Ryland! OMG, this man is twisted, dangerous, and commanding. I want him! His drive and need for revenge is a bit of a character flaw, but his feelings and protectiveness for Brighton more than makes up for it.

The plot and execution - The twisty turns of the plot really kept me on my feet. There was never a dull moment with this one. It's a brilliantly dark masterpiece.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Echo! My only mistake was not reading the blurb or reviews before diving in. I had no idea I'd be in cliffy hangover hell afterward. I need the next audiobook yesterday!

Audiobook Review: The audiobook is narrated by Tracy Marks. Tracy perfectly executes each characters point of view. She is a master at making each one sound distinct. The emotions really came through during the performance. I highly recommend any of her audiobooks!

A. Zavarelli doesn't disappoint! Another dark & twisted series!

As far as I'm concerned if you see A. Zavarelli & Tracy Marks you cannot go wrong! I have read/listened to 5 of her books and she never disappoint! Her writing is amazing and unparalleled with anything I have ever listened to in the suspenseful romance genre. I'm just glad I'm not one of her characters because she puts them through the ringer!

Tracy does an amazing job bringing the story to life. I love her narration! She does amazing bringing emotions to the surface.

This book is very intense like her previous ones. There is mystery, suspense, betrayal, drama, twists, and dark romance. What I was not expecting was the huge cliffhanger at the end! At least I can go ahead and read or listen to the next book in this series because it is available now!

I LOVED this one!!

Thank you A.Zavarelli for giving me a five star listen. I was in a book funk and this one had everything. It was so intriguing to try and figure out the back story. And it wasn't just the Rylan and Brighton, the secondary characters really added so much to my interest in the book too. I cannot wait for Stutter. I don't even want to start anything else because I'm so invested in these characters.
Rylan was so difficult to like but at the same time, you just knew he had a heart-wrenching story somewhere in his past and you couldn't help but sympathize with your heart even though your brain was telling you no! But for some reason, when the heroine, Brighton, was sympathizing with Rylan it was frustrating me....Ha! My heart and brain war all the time. Anyway, definitely so worth the credit if for nothing else than to listen to the amazing. narration by the Tracy Marks, and I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for Stutter.
