Publisher's Summary

Onward! Toward an adventure that they didn’t expect. Alex, Leeha, and Bridget are about to learn what’s going on at the Lake of Ruins. What they find there will provoke Alex to seek vengeance.

But the gate at the Lake of Ruins is not what he expected. Even God is silent about it. To be frank, Alex’s God is not only just silent but completely mute. Now he knows he’s on his own. But, as he moves through this new world of his, Boromour, he is not completely alone.

Leeha and Bridget help Alex adapt to Boromour, and to his new powers; powers he wants to unleash on those doing dreadful things at the Lake of Ruins. But this is not a time for a power showdown. Rather, it’s one for stealth, cunning, and - as strange as it sounds - close friendships.

As for his Chakras, Alex learns that gaining power is breaking his body, and he needs to train harder than ever. Opening his Chakras will either kill him or make him a force that Bomorour has never seen before.

This series contains the unabridged text, mayhem, monster girls, fluffy tails, and just plain lots of magic.

Good voice bad writing

I really enjoyed the first book I found it funny and interesting. However the performance can’t say poor writing. The dialogue could be improved being more creative. I am just disappointed I couldn’t finish the story because of the MC and how he talks to others. I understand not liking a race but killing and not understanding the reasons of a hate leads to the same problem again…

Annoying

I just want to point out it took 18 chapters to go from the elf’s family village to the lake with the demon portal and the remainder of the chapters is them staying there screwing around until the last 2 chapters, they stand in one area for a whole or more chapters talking to themselves or to each other and gain new powers through some dumb way, I like some of the utility he does with his power but his imagination is still limited, another thing is when he calls up multiple projectiles at once like let’s say “Fire:Fire Arrow”, just say “Fire:36 Fire Arrows” not sit there upping the word count by repeating the same spell 36 times, and the choppy narration was okay at first but just got really annoying after awhile, there could’ve been a lot more to this story I mean in your 2 books the MC has been to 8 places in total give or take, and he sits there and complains and his woman or women sit there and comfort him over and over again like he’s a 3 year old it comes off as a super weak character there’s a lot more I cloud say but I’ll leave it at that.

it alright

aside of this books being of Frankenstein's creation it put too much work on info that is not needed and the slow pace it has is kind of annoying

terrible flow

how many ways do you have to write dialog so every single time someone speaks to another they have to know the exact way they smile and talk

Great performance

Again those two do a great job of bringing story to life
Like most book two in series pretty slow and misses the capability of bringing more action into the story creating more then using a fire sword spell and putting it in six times in a row BORING once is more then enough and not needed at all just could have done better
The rest of the story pretty predictable

Had or has potential

This book would be so much better if the author wasn’t terrible. I’d like to see this story with a better author. Now that would be lit.

Awesome

I'm tickled to death to have this Rush of competent mc that make his choices and fight strategically. Don't care for the forgiveness/ they get another chance angle, but made up for it in ruthlessness.

Little man’s power fantasy.

Long winded and repetitive. Good narration let down by poor writing. Quite sure mc qualifies as a full blown psychopath.

Enjoyable story

I really enjoyed this series. This is the second in a story. It's not a serious storyline but a good feeling one that you can giggle one minute and get irritated the next.

The narrators bring the story to life. They give the characters a personality and make them into unique people.

Not as gripping as the first

I was hoping for more character growth with his knowledge of Terra rather then basic stuff with a one off time of oh cool moment. The story tries to be awesome but for an isekai guy not to really stretch his gaming knowledge of spells he can pull off with combos to make for awesome problem solving displays is disappointing. It goes from magic to cultivating and mixes the two which don't really get to be explored or push to the limits of how far can the MC take them. Idk he is not being pushed to think problem solving on his own rather then needing another to point it out or do it for him. voice acting was good tho.
