This Book Could Have Been "Psychology of Success!"

I absolutely love this book! This book reteaches you a fairly easy concept "use your body language correctly" however, it goes much deeper than that. I learned more about human psychology and why we communicate the ways we do. I learned that non-verbal communication can really "make or break me". The idea of using hand gestures... WOW! I actually already try to do this in my profession. I needed to hear about what an important role they play. The further concepts regarding our developmental and cognitive skills when communicating were very impressive. I learned a lot more than simply improving my communication skills.

How to Learn High Level People Skills FAST

Had a couple successful friends recommend this book, so I bought a copy for both me and my partner.

It’s already made a huge difference in both of our careers and our relationship.

The book teaches a lot of simple ways to make your interactions with people (and therefore your life) easier.

Your body language, how you speak and listen, how to respond to others, how to change how others respond to you — it’s all in there in the first few chapters!

Elite Communication Skills for Young Professionals is a really fun, easy way to learn high level people skills.

Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Skills

It was really useful to have a full breakdown of both verbal and nonverbal communication skills. It is too easy just to focus on trying to be verbally erudite and articulate, to the detriment of everything else. I have started to use the PREP (Point, Reason, Evidence and Point) system of organising and communicating key pieces of information in meetings. This really helps me to think clearly about what I want to say. I also appreciated the pdf version of the book. It is nice to be able to quickly look something up.
