Publisher's Summary

Now that Startum Ironwolf has reached Domenic’s stronghold, there are a number of obstacles to surpass if he’s going to have any hope in helping his friend escape the massive Chaos Storm Alliances army that’s camped on his friend’s doorstep. The first and foremost being his friend’s refusal to run away and fight another day.

Unbeknownst to either of them, even if they do manage to escape the PKers that are out for their blood, the Orcish horde has arrived and are blocking their path of escape. Somehow, Star has to make peace amongst his friends and figure out a way to survive the overwhelming odds stacked against them or everything he’s been fighting for will be lost.

Love this story

The Mc of this story is one if the best I have found in litrpgs. He is honorable as well as ruthless to his enemies. One of my top reads and I always rush for every addition to this story. Cant wait for more. Keep up the good work Jason.

A little better this time

so the movement of the story seemed to actually move this time, but I did have to hit fast forward a few times to get through some player to player dialogue that just seems so repetitive its painful. Especially when the female players are bitching at the main character for any and every little thing....good or bad.

Enjoyable Listen. More than 24 hours/book needed

I believe that since the last 3 audio books only have 73 reviews below 4 and that you can leave off the lead in about people trying to tank your book ratings.

I enjoy the story that is being told, but the progression of the story needs to pick up. Jamming in every little detail that the characters see, smell, taste, and think gets a little pedantic and takes away from the story.

Some of the jumps in different character POVs can be jarring and isn't being tied into the story until much later and it's leaves you thinking who is this.

It is a good series, but it needs better pacing

So good

This series and especially this book is so amazing. I am genuinely a massive fan. The relationship development between the characters is both stressful and completely enthralling. I love the work he has done on this and the narration is excellent. I anxiously awaiting the next book and will be getting a preorder from me for sure!!!!!

Great book, I can't wait for the next one!

What a great book and series! I rarely leave reviews, but I had to on this one. The fight scene with the troll, OMG, so funny! I was listening to this book, while I was driving, and had to pull over because I was laughing so hard! Jason Cheek, please never change your writing style to accommodate the woke crowd! There was nothing offensive in this book.

Just Read it Now! Best in the series yet!

Just Read it Now! Best in the series yet and all of them are good.
With every book the author "Jason Cheek" gets better and better. I really care about the characters and love how there IRL relationships play out in the game. It is especially refreshing that the author does not shy away from any scene be it romantic or horrendous. He pours his heart in to every encounter and conversation
The fact that this book follows the story from various different view points this time only makes the world seem stronger and more fulfilling.
There are hints of a deeper story lingering around the fringes like Why are the NPC's so life like? Is there a greater darkness hidden at the heart of the company that runs the world? Will the leads sycotic-ex's hatred be contained by the virtual world?

a triumphant effort

the performance is excellent with different dialects and tones for different races and genders.

but dude, harem rhymes with scare 'em, and doesn't have a long e sound.

and the breadth of the world building at the same time as individual building is majestic.

I hope the good guys keep winning, but fear am installment like The Empire Strikes Back

Great series and book

Think about changing the chapter totals to the name of the persons it’s focused on.

Enthralled

I utterly enthralled by this series and love the way we now get to know more characters and how they interact with the overall story.

The combination of a great storyline narrated by Jason Hill has left me wanting more.
