I'm Satisfied!

The purpose of this book is to introduce you to Emotional Intelligence as a guide for beginners who may have never heard or known about what emotional intelligence is, or those listeners who are aware of it is and are interested in learning more about it. Emotional intelligence is one of many different kinds of intelligence. There is the intelligence quotient that we know as IQ, which is the ability to recover, remember items from memory. Emotions can motivate our behavior as well as influence people, positively as well as negatively. It is about how to become knowledgeable in coping with our feelings. I think that's the better guide from another IQ books. I want to thanks for the Creator. Overall best from my side.

It is exceptional psychological principles put in plain english. I enjoyed the information and this book helped me understand myself more than before. EI is applicable and makes absolute sense. Just Excellent book

A very useful book! - although the title is somewhat misleading. I have not listen the first book in this series, Emotional Intelligence; which I'm told is more acacademic in nature and not very practical. This book however is quite practical. E&I by its very definition cannot be learned in the academic sense of listening a book, so a to do list is not appropriate. Hovever, the examples and situations depicted should help us to listen identify and relate to similar occurences in our everyday lives. In this regard - it is helping us to become more self aware - which is probably the first and most significant step.

Master the Talents that Make You Tick

I use this book to change people's lives. I love the assessment and especially, this l version. In this case, I bought the book second hand to be able to have an extra copy around for loaning out if someone took their assessment with the version of the book, but the coupon hasn't been used in this one, and so I have an assessment I can use for a client or friend.

Leadership pathway

Using this with my student team at a university. Knowing their Strengths has professionalized them and helped them develop. We set goals each semester, one professional and one personal. We know each other's 5 Strengths and refer to them when projects are to be assigned or reviewed. Looking for more Strengths-Based activities to use in monthly meetings.

Well explained book that teaches how to self improve emotional skills. It is an amazingly interesting concept that, when understood, can help with navigating organizations. I would recommend this book to those who want to increase their EI or if you are studying this great subject as a leader or student.

Toooooo many abbreviations to follow!

Enfps, infps and inftps...ect!! WTF! It reads too fast and is no better slowed down. I couldn’t follow it because of constant use of the abbreviation!!!
This doesn’t suit everyone and I find this so frustrating as I really wanted to use this book.
It would be useful to have a pdf attached with the abbreviations.
