Motivating!

The chapter I really loved was the one on mastering fear of public speaking. It didn't help me get over my stage fright, but it did have some medical definitions and insight into the fear. I won't be able to give a speech comfortably any time soon, but this audiobook taught me that that's because I probably have a phobia of public speaking, not just a fear of it.

Priceless audiobook

Really great and easy guide that helped me understand I'm not alone in my fears of public speaking (which is probably the first step in overcoming them). It gave some really practical things to consider on feeling comfortable being yourself, sharing your ideas, and receiving feedback. Useful not only for public speaking, but also everyday life.

Excellent Audiobook. Straight to the point!

Public speaking is not only about getting on stage and giving a talk, it's also about speaking at a team meeting. It is an important skill to present ideas to your team and convince them about a technical solution. I recommend it to anyone in the tech field, that feels nervous during meetings or has trouble getting heard and communicating effectively. I also recommend it to anyone that things that to give a talk at a tech conference you have to be an expert.

Straight to the point with great actionable ideas

I wasn't expecting much when I picked this up because I know there are a million and one "Public Speaking!" books out there, but this one was actually pretty informative. I didn't finish the whole thing because I've taken courses on this stuff before and I knew a lot of the information, but I did found a few tips even I hadn't heard before, so chances are, even if you're a public speaking master, you'll find a couple helpful tips in this guide that you may be able to use.

Really helpful

The audiobook is recommended to anxious people who find it easy to imagine the negative outcome of the future rather than living in present and working on it to create a positive future. This audiobook helped me with tips and techniques to look towards the challenges of life as a chance and not an obstacle.
