Publisher's Summary

You Are About To Discover How To Break Free From Childhood Trauma And Toxic Parenting From Emotionally Immature Parents, For Good!

It is assumed that every parent has his/her child’s best interests at heart. Unfortunately, you and I know that not all parents live up to this description of a parent.

Some parents are plain mean, mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive, manipulative, lying and cold blooded towards their children. They are the kind of parents that you would rather live without than live with; parents you want to distance yourself from and forget that they exist because every time you talk to them, they bring their vile of mean comments, arguments, bring you down, and find opportunities to be aggressive even when not necessary.

The truth is; being brought up by such a parent can leave you with scars that take a lot of time to heal. In fact, children of such parents grow up to hate themselves; they just can’t understand why they were not good enough for their parents. In the end, they are likely to engage in all manner of vices, have problems trusting people, have problems in their own relationships, abuse their own children, etc.

This doesn’t have to be you; you can break the chain.

How exactly do you do that?

Simple; you learn how to break the chain of abuse and toxicity, then take massive action towards making that a reality.

And this book will show you how - give you the motivation to get started NOW and support you through the process.

More precisely, in this book, you will:

  • Learn how to discern if your parents are emotionally immature so that you know what you are up against
  • Understand how to relate and confront an immature parent the right way to increase your odds of winning the war against the immaturity
  • Understand how your rough childhood has affected you up to this point so that you know if you have problems that you MUST uproot before they worsen
  • Understand how to improve the person you are today with full understanding of where you are coming from so that you never look back
  • Understand how to discover your true identity and not let other people influence the definition you have of yourself
  • Know how to deal with toxic people in your life and avoid them like a plague
  • Know how to ensure you don’t pass the toxicity you received from your parents to your children
  • Know how to become the perfectionist parent that always roots out for their children no matter what
  • Deal with anxiety and emotional instability for good to ensure it never affects your relationships again
  • And much more!

If your parent’s emotional immaturity has left scars in your body on a physical, emotional, and mental level, now is time to put an end to it all.

Don’t wait any longer....

Don't waste the time.

If you are looking for a similar but more effective book try "Running on empty." I was completely turned off by the heavy use of "natal charts" aka astrology to explain why people might continue to enter bad relationships. Get a book written by a psychological professional. 👍 Good Luck everyone.

Lacking

This book lacked everything that could keep me interested. The narration was monotone and I had to remind myself not to wonder in thought. It also brought up everything is possible through Jesus Christ. While that may be your belief I don’t want it pushed into relationship coping skills. The book then transitioned into astrology. That’s when I had to return the book. I’m not sure how it ended, I couldn’t make it that far.

Fake Book Alert!!!

I thought it was odd that the voice sounded automated. However I (unfortunately) listened to this for well over an hour. I believe it starts off with the correct book but at some point it is hijacked! For example, the actual author’s name is Karen. At one point it speaks of someone talking to the author and refers to the author as a “he” named “Adam”. It then goes on to speak of Neptune’s effect on us and sin. I am SO UPSET that I wasted a credit on this fake reading! I can’t believe there are people out there who would sink so low as to try to have their writings heard by advertising them as someone else’s.

Helpful, Honest, Not Judgmental

It was refreshing perspective. I was thinking I had narcissistic parents and spouse but I think they are emotionally immature. I will strive to be the emotionally mature parent because that's all I am supposed to do.

Transformational book.

After going through a recent breakup I needed clarity on source of my recurring self defeating behaviors. I've never put a lot of emphasis on feelings, instead I've focused primarily on behaviors.

This book helped me understand why I feel and consequently act a certain way and how can I better relate to people who are different from me.

informative, but repetitive

I found this book extremely helpful both personally and professionally. it was, however, somewhat repetitive and the listener sounded stilted. If you can get past that, this book will be an excellent resource.

Life changing

This audio book should be a mandatory manual for everyone, period. Even if YOU aren't a child of emotionally immature parents, so many people around you are, and this book helps you to understand them. This makes interacting with them, understanding why they behave illogically, and how they are likely to respond or not respond to certain things so much easier. Life-Changing.

highly recommended

I will be referencing this book while working on the issues it discusses- I found it extremely insightful, detailed, and easy to follow. I really disliked the narrator's style of speaking, but found the book so helpful I was able to overlook that easily. It is well worth listening to.

Excellent

Concise, honorable, nonjudgmental presentation of emotional immaturity. Easy to identify with descriptions of how that effects relationships. Sound advice and encouragement on acting more emotionally mature.
