Publisher's Summary

Do you know what it’s like to walk into a crowded room and suddenly be struck with an overwhelming feeling - be it sadness, fear, or loneliness? Are you the one others come to when they need to share their problems, as if they are drawn to you? Maybe, you sense that somehow, feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression are creeping into your life through exposure to others.

In other words, you suspect you are an empath!

Highly sensitive people can not only detect, but actually feel the emotions of people around them, and this often leaves them helplessly vulnerable to harsh, unwanted emotional experiences and even danger if they don’t know how to defend against it. This unchecked exposure can result in disorienting mood swings or simply having a strong desire to spend time alone. But escaping the crowd is not always the real solution to dodging these emotions or, even worse, the empath’s worst enemy: the narcissist.

It is important to learn to protect yourself and your own mental health so that you are capable of using your gift effectively.

In this audiobook, you will discover:

  • Hidden empathic abilities you are probably unaware you possess
  • The single best tool empaths can use to prevent exhaustion
  • The eight unmistakable signs of being empathic you should know about
  • Strong tools to avoid negative energy and how to self-heal
  • Secrets of how to read energy and how to use it
  • Role of energy healing, how it comes into play, and how to use it on others
  • Simple protection and shielding techniques from narcissists and energy vampires
  • The nine types of empaths and how to identify your type
  • And much more...

Even if you don’t believe the negativity you are absorbing is affecting your life, you deserve to experience freedom from it. Protect yourself by learning what hundreds of empaths like yourself have already learned and how to finally stop negative emotion in its tracks, start listening today.

Many Eureka Moments !!

Loved it. Really helped me to understand things that have been happening to me and in my life but I just did not have a name for it. So I guess I am now in my Awareness stage :)
Great book.

Information and Self-Care for Empaths

I think the audible is basically well organized, though I might have put energy shielding along with the earlier chapter on negative energy and self-healing with energy healing. The author has a friendly and accessible style. She identifies as an empath, so the information she shares has a ring of personal authenticity, not just a repackaging of topics gleaned from other sources on the internet—which, unfortunately, books like these often are

Interesting listen

I really enjoyed the information presented in this audiobook. It opened my eyes to a lot of information about my empath self and also the people around me who exhaust me the most and why they're so tiring.

When there weren't little odd sounds or flubs the narration was good. I enjoyed her voice and delivery, there could have been some more editing in post production to remove mouth sounds and other little things, but they didn't detract too heavily from the content delivery.

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for my honest review.

Great insight

Loved this book, it was very helpful to me. It’s written in a very digestible way and I full of points that I found really insightful, as well as solutions and ways to help yourself and your relationships. I also really liked that this book celebrates empathy and encourages us empaths to grow in our nature rather than change who we are in order to change our relationships. I recommend it.

A MUST READ!!

An eye opener!! I'm really glad I took someone's advice about listening to this book. I had no idea that I was an empath! I can now see that I have in the past forgotten where my emotions end and someone else's begins and this book has given me that awareness.

When this happens it's important to remember that other people's energy is separate from me.

With awareness I can now see why I am drawn to healing techniques that enable me to balance and realign my bodies energy. I'm glad that the Western Culture is starting to see this as more than just a fad.

It was also interesting that I have recently chosen to become a massage therapist.

I understand that from both and scientific and spiritual outlook that my brain can cause mayhem if it wants to (or at least feel that way)

If it can play mayhem it can also be used to make me feel good. (Wa-hey)

I feel really grateful to the author and person who recommended this book! Well worth the few hours it takes to listen to it!
