Publisher's Summary

An empath is somebody who is profoundly mindful of the feelings of people around them, to the point of feeling those feelings themselves. Empaths see the world uniquely in contrast to others; they're distinctly mindful of others, their agonies, and what they need inwardly.

In any case, it's not simply feelings. As per Dr. Judith Orloff, creator of Empath Survival Guide, empaths can feel physical agony and frequently detect somebody's goals or where they're coming from. As it were, empaths appear to get on a significant understanding of the people around them.

Numerous exceptionally delicate individuals (HSPs) are likewise empaths. However, there might be a contrast among empaths and HSPs. Having a high level of sympathy is only one of the four characteristics that make somebody a HSP. HSPs are delicate to numerous sorts of improvements, notwithstanding feelings.

All things considered, most empaths are exceptionally delicate, however not all profoundly touchy individuals are fundamentally empaths. So, how would you know whether you or someone you know is an empath? There are 13 signs of an empath that will help you decide, and this audiobook will discuss them in detail and teach you much more.

Greg W.

The content was good, but to be honest, the reader was distracting. She constantly used incorrect inflections and mispronounced words regularly. She has a pleasant voice but it makes the read very muddy and hard to focus on the content. This should have been caught by the Engineer.

I'm not sure I can finish listening to this.

"on the off chance" "in any case" and other phrases are repeated almost every other sentence. The first chapter seems to repeat the same concepts multiple times. I thought it was on a loop or something by accident at first. I wanted to like the book and get help with my feelings but it was overwhelming to hear the same thing over and over again.

Understanding myself on a whole new level.

Author is a Highly Sensitive Empath Guru. I'm so grateful to have found this book last year. It has brought me to a higher level of understanding and accepting myself.

Author strategies have taught me how to life to the fullest as a Highly Sensitive Empath. By appreciating and honoring all that I am, I no longer feel alone and helpless to my sensitivities. I see them as a gift.

I've recommended this book to many people newly discovering themselves as Empaths. Based on the suggestion from this book, I created an Empath discussion so others know they are not alone. I've used many excerpts from her book to guide us on our path.

A survival guide for todays world

In a world filled with chaos, for those who aren't familiar with the term empath, they may think they are losing their mind. As one who has always been defined as overly sensitive, or unable to navigate large crowds, I thought something was wrong with me. I was labeled a loner, someone who was unable to 'fit in'. Once I understood through the work of author, that my body was protecting itself against the overwhelming energies, I began to take control of my environment, instead of allowing it to control me.
I have followed author work for many years now, and although all her books are filled with amazing life strategies, this one is (for me) by far
one that I will listen to again and again. I am recommending it to clients, friends, and family members.
This is a MUST HAVE guide book for anyone who not only is Empathic, but for those who are in the company of empaths.

A Life-Changing, Life-Enhancing Work!

From the start I knew that "The Empath's Survival Guide" would be the most succinct and helpful book I would ever find to navigate through life; it is the Ultimate Guide for True Freedom for Empaths! I learned about being an Empath from author previous books on the subject and it has definitely changed my life. Empath's comprise approximately 15-20% of people who are, unfortunately, misunderstood by most. author has helped me to understand a Sensitive Nature that many family and friends, throughout my entire life, have encouraged me to change. How can one change their inner essence? Now I KNOW that it is a "GIFT" which, when understood and used accordingly, can not only enhance one's life, but everyone else's as well. What a difference this change of attitude has made. I am definitely Happier and Freer, enjoying life to the fullest because of it.

Great book -- wish it was spoken years ago!

Wish this was spoken decades ago. I found it helpful for the various emotional vampires and how to combat each one. But most importantly, it was helpful to learn/be reminded that it is OK to set boundaries with people and to say no and to put your own well being first. It was also fun to read the various types of empaths and learn what types I was. I highly recommend this book for any empath at any age.

WONDERFUL, I am a professional animal communicator

I just finished reading The Empath's Survival Guide, WONDERFUL, I am a professional animal communicator and love my work. When I do phone consultations I open to it and close after it is finished. But in life, every day, it isn't always so easy! Thank you for even more techniques and clarity in this journey!

The best book on the subject I've ever listen!

As an Empath/HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) in my personal life as well as in my profession as a transformational psychologist, this book is an incredible resource. I sense many will feel as I did when I began reading it: it was my story precisely. It's such a relief to be really understood in a world that downplays, ridicules, and rejects the gifts of those of us who see and feel more in areas of life that are generally ignored and misunderstood by the majority. I highly recommend it to any sensitive person as well as those who love them - it can transform relationships, and particularly with oneself. This book is a major gift to all of us super sensitives in how it reveals the joy and freedom in being empaths!
