Hard to listen to

Would you try another book from Zach Bohannon and/or Andrew Tell?

No. The characters drove me crazy. They couldn't run 10 paces without falling down and dropped whatever they had in their hands. They freak out and freeze up at the slightest trouble. Thay leave guns behind and can't drive a vehicle without wrecking it. People that stupid would not live through the first day.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Under a Graveyard Sky by John Ringo.

What three words best describe Andrew Tell’s voice?

Good variety of voices

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The guy reading it.

Any additional comments?

Couldn't finish it.

Many inconsistencies

What was the point of sending Jessica to the farm first? She was just being treated like bait. All other times the men make the women hang back to be safe while they always go first-hand it's ridiculous. It's like the author has forgotten what he had already written. It is kinda irritating. He wrote something about the "dense" population allowing David to quickly escape the farm in a truck fleeing from Will...I think he meant to write sparse population. And Will rams a speeding truck that the boy, Dillion, is riding in just to get his revenge? That's just a couple irritating things in the last couple chapters.

What a waste of time.

The read was so monotone and the story was so cheesy until the end. Then it went to lame.

meh

I lost instudent. Mediadocre. The story line got boring before I finished the first book. It seemed like it was written by a 1st year writing studen.

Good listen

Different. Enjoyed plot twists and zombie genre. A little bouncy and hard to follow in a few spots but a good listen nevertheless.

Not bad..kinda too fast paced for my taste

I had to rewind a few times to keep up because some parts of the story jumps around so fast. But all-in-all I would listen to more stories of this series if the saga continues. Narrator was very easy to listen to.

Pretty typical but enjoyable.

Interesting take on zombies. I like the various characters and shifting between stories. I like that there were good guys who continue to try and do the right thing. This one was along the line of TWD in my opinion. It has zombies, good guys and bad guys. Pretty typical for the genre. The series skirts saying this is a biblical type issue but alludes to it.

amazing

I found this narrator to be one one the best I've heard. I also found the story to be fully intriguing with no dead time.

Loved this zombie book

The zombies are called empties in this book. The characters are well developed so you get the chance to care about or hate them.
