Publisher's Summary

When the worst-case scenario becomes reality, all the lucky charms in the world can't solve our problems.

Just when Luke started to open up, he closes himself off again. When we first met, he assured me he was no prince charming. I'm starting to believe him.

And then tragedy strikes.

This can go one of two ways: Either he'll lean on me the way a husband should lean on a wife, or he'll push me away. But I've got a little secret of my own, and I have no idea what it means for our end game.

loved it

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Good but…

IMO this could have been a trilogy or duet vs the 5 books it is, but I started it and liked it enough to finish it.

Story was good but after the initial bang of you will it was a serious slow burn and the OW drama was a lot. I also prefer books with dual POV. Thankfully it was in first person.

With that said I enjoyed the series and the writing. This was a new author and narrator to me. I’ll definitely consider more of their work in the future.

Too many books!

The story is good and keeps you interested but this should’ve been one or two books total. Wayyyy too long and wayyy too many credits needed to finish.

What a great series of books

This is more of you of the five Vegas ex‘s books. So I would say this was a great series. Each of the books has its own fun twist to it but I really liked how the character seemed real they deal with the trials and tribulations of life like all of us to go to the end love prevails. And I might also say that there’s some good thought-provoking elements of these books. Things we could all learn from and take to heart. And of course we don’t do it earning $160,000 Per football game but I think we all could benefit from some of the Nuggets in this book in our own lives. It was a great book.
I must say I was a little put off by the idea that I had do use five credits for the series but I really did enjoy it, and I will likely listen to the next one as well. Just a wonderful heartwarming story that had enough intercourse she said it made it fun to listen to.
I like to listen to books while I walk and over the course of these five books I walked just about 100 miles. Not that that matters but 100 miles is a lot of time and it’s just nice to pass the time listening to such a pleasant story. Thank you Lisa Susanne for writing this great book and for summer for an excellent performance.

What i did not like about these books

Loved the story but i didn’t realize when i started the first book that i would have to read 5 books to get the whole story. I wold not have started it if i had. Be advised before you start.

too many credits burned

I loved the story but I should not have to use 4 credits to finish the story. I should have read the reviews first, as a valuable lesson was learned.

Great Story but Credit Drain

This really was a great story once I realized I had not deleted the first few chapters somehow. The book really isn’t a stand alone. It’s like they took an entire 1500 pg novel and decided to do it in segments.

I’m stuck now wanting to know what happens in the next segment but it will cost $80-$100 in credits to get to the end. Considering the length of each segment, you could at least offer a 2 segments for 1 credit discount. Like I said, you are totally confused when you start this segment without reading the previous one.

Could have been 2 books

This could have been 2 books easily! I will not read anything else by the author and where she ended is horrible.
I would honestly just pass on listening to the first so you don’t feel compelled to listen to the other 4, they are not worth the $15 you have to pay for a credit at all!

A con.

This series could have been two books totally predictable . A lot of procrastination, waste of credits

Depth

Some may find the multiple books for one story a bit much, however I enjoyed the exploration in character that it gave. Narration was good, storyline had good twists.

Interesting romantic story

Care. There are 5 books in all. Enjoyed the story line that was full of twists and turns. Didn’t expect to have to buy 5 weeks though. First one was on free list. I read the synopsis on Kindle and got #5 on my free part of Kindle then purchased #5 for Audible for $3. I know I missed a lot of the story but using another 4 credit points for the rest was too much. Thank you. Loved the story
