Excellent, enjoyable intro to church history

Excellent introduction to church history, very easy to follow and never gets stuck. A very helpful quick overview of some of the most important points of church history, recorded through objects rather than places, and then a quick theological reflection on the people behind those objects, and how God used them in his sovereignty, for his glory.
Really easy to listen to, simple language and very enjoyable. I look forward to watching the documentary that goes with it.
My only small criticism is I was hoping to learn a bit more about the middle ages. The author skips over around 5-600 years, but this is understandable given the stagnation of the church at the time.
Highly recommended.
