✫✫ 5 Stars for Wesmie ✫✫

What a wonderful visit with Wes & Jamie. This was like eating cake for breakfast while visiting old friends. I just love all of these characters so much and the happy feeling their stories leave me feeling. I would happily listen to anything these Author want to give us involving these men. This very short story was missing all the sex but it was still very sexy, hot and had the most important thing, the love.

Teddy & Jacob will always be Wesmie to me!!

More #Wesmie!

More #Wesmie! Learning that Sarina & Elle were releasing more about my favorite hockey players/swoony couple had me in paroxysms of sheer joy. Never mind that it's a novella (the paperback is 78 pages and audio version is barely over one hour). I'll take what I can get.

It was so easy to slide right back into the perfection that is Jamie and Wes. Life is good for the twosome. Wes is killing it with the Toronto team and Jamie continues to love his coaching position. But then Jamie is up for a promotion at the same time that Ottawa is offering him a goalie spot on their team. Career crisis!

I adore these guys and how supportive they are of each other. Their commitment, their banter... it all goes right to my heart. And major bonus: plenty of comedic relief courtesy of Blake Riley. Epic was a total gift and I listened to the whole thing with a huge smile on my face (and heart eyes).

And big gold star to whoever made the decision to bring back Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton for the audio narration. After listening to the first two books many (many) times, those guys totally embody Wes and Jamie for me.

Magic!

Jamie and Wes are are one of those literary couples that have so much chemistry that the listener can almost hear the sizzle in the background as the story is being read. And of course it only makes the sizzle louder that Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are two of the best narrators in the business.

It truly is Epic!

Oh WesMie!

I am very grateful for this short story, a glimpse of WesMie’s happily ever after. Their relationship ever growing strong.

It is a bit bittersweet that this might be the last of WesMie, they’re my forever favorite couple.

If you’re a big solid WesMie fan, I’m sure you already have a copy of this audiobook. If you’re not a fan, why the heck not? It’s WesMie! Get on it. ♥️

Short and extremely sweet - a must for all Him fan

Oh wow. Gush, gush, gush. Anyone who has read/listened to Him and Us needs this story in their life. Sadly it’s way too short (I know, I know, it is a novella), but I could just listen to Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan portray Wes and Jamie all day long. Audio has been the way forward for me in this series (I must say though, that audio is quite an expensive way to go for only 1 hour and 7 minutes of listening time, but I’m a hardened fan, and this story though short packs a lot of punch, and it definitely did not disappoint. A cute, funny addition to this m/m hockey romance series. I just loved it.

Fun Short

What happens when you win a one night chance at a dream opportunity & crush it? What happens when you have support from loved ones? What happens when you peer pressure a teammate into eating fried crickets? This (short) Book.

It’s a fun interlude in making the HEA work out & I’m here for it.

Steam: Low. Innuendo but mostly just kissing. M/M

Narration: One of the narrators was great. The other wasn’t so much bad as just flat, which made it hard to get into the book for a while.

Love being back with Wes and Jamie! ❤️

I love these characters and was a little worried Bowen and Kennedy would mess with the HEA we finally got from 'Us', but luckily nope! This is a sweet, heartwarming, short that is sure to melt your heart if you love these characters as much as I do. Getting the audio at the same time was a cherry on top. Would recommend both book and audio 💯 as long as you've read 'Him' and 'Us' first.

I wanted more

Maybe its because I loved Him and Us so much, that I wanted more from Epic. I was happy to see more of Jamie and Wes, and even explore Jamie’s opportunity with the NHL. It was a good story, but definitely a novella, left me longing for more. It was fun to check in with them and see where their relationship is at. Loved that Jamie got his shot AND that it wasn't more important than Wes.

Checking in with the guys!

A Jamie and Wes Novella! *Swoon*

Epic is book 2.5 in the Him series. It is a quick listen at 1 hour and 7 minutes in duration, and is told in alternating POVs of the two main characters.

This book is centered around Jamie and his career. Things are a bit uncertain as he debates a change. We also got to see a bit of the guys on the ice which is always a good time.

I loved this little check in with characters that I adore. I originally read books 1 and 2, Him and Us, in 2016 and was super excited to see that this novella was just released. What a great surprise. I guess this will have to hold me over since nothing new has been released for the WAGs spin off series since 2017. So glad to find this book and hoping for more in the future.

The narration was perfect. They both did a great job.

Waste of a credit

I used a credit on this book because I enjoyed the previous two books in the series and was recommended this as the next one in series. Was really annoyed when I realised it was only an hour and a half. I feel scammed because it was more like an epilogue to the last book rather than a book on its own and shouldn’t be.

Fabulous epilogue

“Wesmie” are my favourite M/M couple of all time.
I love the entire series of ‘Him’ books and re-listen & re-read very frequently. Never gets old.
These narrators are fabulous and I will auto listen if either are noted on the audible info.
Highly recommended

Not long enough...

Not afraid to admit I still haven't forgiven the authors for not giving us #Wesmie's wedding in a special one-off read. To include it in Blake/Jess's story was SO annoying, and if you think about it, Blake and Jess wouldn't even have gotten together without Wes and Jamie so...not a happy bunny BUT any extra time I get with my 2 guys is worth it, and thanks to all the complaints, the price of this was reduced.

As always Teddy and Jacob kill it as Wes and Jamie. The book is a perfect addition to their story and the audio book enhances it even further. I LOVE it!!!

Please don't let this end!!!

I very rarely give 5 stars across the board, but this absolutely deserves it! The (hopefully not!) conclusion to the incredibly touching, beautiful, awe inspiring Wes and Jamie story!!
This is a wonderful extra, listening to how they are living their lives married is so fantastic!
The narration was incredible, absolutely giving life to the characters.
Incredible incredible book! I finished all three, Him, Us and Epic over two days because i simply couldn't put it down.
Soooooo worth the credits!!

Always good!

Great ice hockey short in the HIM series.
Jamie is worried about a coaching promotion while Wes’s hockey team play a surprise game and Blake performs his usual blocking manoeuvre. Fun and light while continuing to explore the give and take of a long-term relationship.

Fantastic audio for Wesmie Fans.

The audio for Epic may have only been just over an hour, but it was a FANTASTIC hour to listen to. I love these 2 narrators, so to have them performing more Wesmie together was pretty awesome. Loved the novella when it was released in the anthology, thrilled it got the audio release as well.
