Just don't

First few chapters were pretty good. It introduced a lot of different herbs and plants with some of their common uses and even went into side effects and safe use, which I think is great. Chapter 5 is where it gets sketchy. That's when it starts telling you to use your own pee for remedies. I'm not kidding. It is recommending to put urine in your eye and drink urine daily. Sorry, no. The home remedy instructions are very vague, sometimes not even telling you how much to use of certain ingredients. The verbiage also becomes very poor around this time.. it honestly felt like a completely different book. Admittedly, I have not finished this book yet. I am a little more than half way through but it began a downward spiral at chapter 5 and has not recovered since. The performance is lackluster. Sounds like a computer is reading it almost. It is bearable, but just not good. After listening, I also feel like this type of book is just not great as an audiobook in general. It would be much better to have the actual book for reference. I did like the beginning of it, but it went downhill fast. Wouldn't recommend.

Uses

This book is horrible when it comes to the uses. It does not say how to make the item whether a tea or salve, how much herb to use, what application is best for which ailment. I am very disappointed.
