Publisher's Summary

A supervillain from the city of Grayville has made a big mistake: He stole from one of my companies. Now he is on my radar, and it's only a matter of time before I find him, and of course, murder him.

Ironically, the only thing preventing me from bringing the unknown douchebag to final justice is Grayville’s famous law-abiding superhero: The Shadow Knight.

But even a hero as accomplished as the Shadow Knight can’t stop me and my team from ending the super villain threat.

And if Shadow Knight won’t accept that, he might have to die as well.

Heads Up

I have enjoyed the story so far. Word of advice if you're listening to the audio books. listen to the first one enjoy it is a nice beginning. then when you listen to this one either stop before the final two chapters or hold off on this audiobook until the third one is released. the final two chapters are more of a setup for the next book then the finishing of this one.

Iron man goes to Gotham.

Iron man takes on the joker and pisses off batman. There, I just saved you a credit. A friend convinced me to give the 2nd book a chance. It was exactly what I expected. Meh book at best. Great performance by the cast though.

starts a disappointing trend

This book has two main flaws. the first is that the overall plot is kind of boring. Honestly the villain character is a little sad and pathetic. I mean maybe he's a little dangerous, but he just comes off this sad and pathetic and all the ways that the hero excels. which is basically every way. I mean let's face it this hero has no flaws.

He''s so perfect that nothing will ever challenge him. even in the first book is near losses could be chalked up to an experience rather than actual imperfections on his part. and it's almost annoying to see him get everything that he wants so easily. I mean what's the point of the story.

one final thing that bothered me is that there isn't much growth with his assistant. throughout the series the main character hints that there's more to her abilities than she believes, and for a long time I thought they were based off of her self-confidence. but there is so little effort into developing her in this book as well as the next that it is painful.

Fun read!

Lots of fun! Just bought books 3 & 4 and looking forward to them both. Also proves that others besides Jeffrey Kafer can do these stories properly😉

Love the jabs at DC and Marvel

The characters are obviously comic jabs at DC and Marvel. Except the main characters, of course. It a fantastic 'What If' concept. Once again LJ shows that he can tastefully use the sex scenes for other than being gratuitous. Love that about him. Keepnup the great work.

Interesting but not as good.

Without trying to spoil to much this is a little more predictable of just stepping into the Batman world.

Good with caveat

Was really good and I enjoyed it. But the very last scene was a bit too dark for my tastes to end on. I hope part 3 comes out soon.

Another fantastic series from Logan Jacobs

I love that Actors everywhere used multiple narrators for this audiobook, they are all fantastic at what they do and it makes Evil Genius one of my favourite series to listen to.
