Listen to The Fat Lady!
I have been unhappily fat for a long time. I have read dozens of diet and fitness books. I've done Primal, Paleo, Keto, Atkins, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and Overeater's Anonymous. I have given up, tried again, cursed myself, gone to counseling, and yo-yoed up and down for decades. I recently discovered this bestseller by Michelle Guise on Audible, which introduced me to her world. Everything she wrote makes perfect sense to me. I bought her Rapid Weight Loss book and now this one. It has changed my life and it has not been difficult. They say when the student is ready the teacher appears. I guess I was ready for Michelle Guise, because I can't believe how much better I am, physically and mentally. In one month I dropped a pants size, my skin got tighter, my aches and pains went away, I started sleeping better and my mental health has been so much better. This audiobook broke down the complicated expectations that we create for ourselves and simplifies it in a way that can be sustainable and really effective for every type of personality and physique. It was very eye opening and thought provoking, and requires a level of honesty for yourself. The way that the author helps his reader shift their mindset and reframe their focus is an effective approach to establishing lasting change that can be applied to every aspect of life.
If you are ready to make behavior changes, and if losing weight is your goal TRUE and VITAL, this is the book for you.

Virtue Signaling b0llocks
All's fine until chapter 4 when the author starts trying to send me to yoga, Buddhist, fitness instructor, doctor dietitians, as well as HYPNOTHERAPISTS?
A little surprising given this is a hypnosis product.
No actual evidence to back her anecdotal claims.
Telling me that, without evidence, plant based nutrition is better.
Telling me that I need to educate myself so that I know what farmers do to my food, I need to educate myself so that I'm aware of the origins of my food. Of courses this implies that I'm uneducated.
Telling me that I should be mindful of my breathing, telling me that if I breath without mindfulness then I'll not be able to concentrate, she then teaches "breath of fire" a technique of panting.
If that was true then surely sleep would cure any problems that I may have?
Talking to my body parts, and allowing my body parts to talk to other body parts. Like that could be the problem!
My knees hurt because my big toe needs to chat with my knee cap...... Really?
Utter drivel with little if any reputable scientific evidence.
Very disappointing.
Buy something else.

Ok so I was beyond rebellious when it came to restricting my diet or my portion sizes. I am a foodie...I am so serious! I wasted money getting B12 shots and still didn’t do right. I also tried weight watchers and keto and probably pretty much anything you could think of. I downloaded this audiobook on a humble, I listened to it once and I lie to you not...it has changed my life. I literally eat about half of what I used to eat! I am doing this with the Lose It! app in which you can eat whatever you want but you have to log in your calories. I decided to lose one and a half pound a week. It has been two weeks and I have lost 3.4 pounds!! It has been a super experience. You have to at least try this audiobook.
