Story
Decades as a Christian leader, most notably at the UN as president of the Center for Family and Human Rights, have earned writer Austin Ruse, once a Washington liberal with little faith, his share of defeats and triumphs. Perhaps most valuably, he has intuited keen tactical insights from his confrontations with the dark side of human nature. You come away from this groundbreaking book with the sense that Ruse knows the enemy better than the enemy knows himself. Ruse carefully examines how the anti-Christian forces gained power over every elite institution in America.

Story
Marc Morano’s analysis of the proposed Green New Deal is eye-opening and damning. Morano exposes the program as a far-left agenda filled with progressive policies disguised as a way to save the planet. No matter what the environmental scare-of-the-day may be, Morano says, the same solution is always proposed - and that solution should scare us. Morano clearly reveals how the Green New Deal will lay a path for “global governance”, resulting in less freedom, less sovereignty, massive government bureaucracy, and significant, crippling wealth redistribution.

This original audiobook considers one of the most extraordinary scientific and political stories of our time: how in the 1980s a handful of scientists came to believe that mankind faced catastrophe from runaway global warming, and how today this has persuaded politicians to land us with what promises to be the biggest bill in history. Christopher Booker interweaves the science of global warming with that of its growing political consequences, showing how just when the politicians are threatening to change our Western way of life beyond recognition, the scientific evidence behind the global warming theory is being challenged like never before.

It dawned on me one day that most of the scare stories in the media today are based on things that are either invisible, like CO2 and radiation, or very remote, like polar bears and coral reefs. Thus, the average person cannot observe and verify the truth of these claims for themselves. They must rely on activists, the media, politicians, and scientists - all of whom have a huge financial and/or political interest in the subject - to tell them the truth.

When it comes to climate change, the media, politicians, and other prominent voices have declared that "the science is settled." In reality, the long game of telephone from research to reports to the popular media is corrupted by misunderstanding and misinformation. Core questions - about the way the climate is responding to our influence, and what the impacts will be - remain largely unanswered. The climate is changing, but the why and how aren't as clear as you've probably been led to believe.

It was a devastating triple punch. Capping their four-year campaign to destroy the Trump presidency, the media portrayed a Democratic victory as necessary and inevitable. Big Tech, wielding unprecedented powers, vaporized dissent and erased damning reports about the Biden family’s corruption. Rigged is the definitive account of the 2020 election. Based on Mollie Hemingway’s exclusive interviews with campaign officials, reporters, Supreme Court justices, and President Trump himself, it exposes the fraud and cynicism behind the Democrats’ historic power grab.

Publisher's Summary
If you listen to any political argument, you're eventually bound to hear something like: "The science is settled on this." Or: "Just look at the statistics!" Or: "There have been studies that say..."
You'd think we were living in the golden age of science and reason. But the truth is far more sinister, says Austin Ruse. We're actually living in the age of the low information voter, easily misled by all-too-convincing false statistics and studies. In Fake Science, Ruse debunks so-called "facts" used to advance political causes one after the other, revealing how poorly they stand up to actual science.

This book is a “Must miss!”
If it were possible to give this hysterical rant ZERO STARS, I would! It has nothing to do with science, and everything to do with politics.
The delivery is close to a scream, and the author has an obvious agenda. I don’t think there are ten sentences in the first few pages that do not have the word, “Left,” in them. Most people with an agenda attempt to appeal to the audience’s common sense, patriotism, intelligence, education, or some such, but this author blasts the reader/listener out of the water with continuous panicky accusations of inappropriate uses of the common term that is used so much today: “FAKE NEWS!!” Oh, my, everyone get the nooses and we will meet in the town square and string the bad guys up !
I am returning this pitiful excuse for a book. The chance may not come to me though, because it just might spontaneously combust from the contained hysterics within.
NOTE: I am a confirmed independent, and vote as I feel; I do not follow any one party’s total line; therefore I am insulted by this attempt to influence my thoughts by accusations of lemming-like behavior.
( I have not proofed this note: I am too irritated by the tone of this book to look at it any more than absolutely necessary.)

Right Wing Scientist has issues with this book
Just to be clear, I'm a biologist and lean right wing. But I still have issues with this book. There were times where I had trouble trusting the author because I saw some tactics used that doesn't suggest honesty. For example, when discussing child abuse and abortion, he stated that 60,000 children were found to be abused around the time abortion was legalized and that sometime later (I can't remember how much but more than a decade) that was up to 1 million. While horrifying, unfortunately absolute numbers aren't always helpful but rather proportions (for all we know the rate went down, but we had such a large population increase). Now, this might not have been a deliberate attempt to obfuscate but rather due to space limitations of the book the author could not pick apart the nuances. I would prefer a book that could address the nuances better.
The narrator wasn't great either. He mispronounced "fetal" (as fatal) and "pubic" (as public).
I'll be returning this unfinished.

A Lifetime of Pet Peeves Released in a Burst
I thought the book might simply be a quick cash-in on the huge fake news output of the Left that was exposed during the last election (and which they have not learned from - they've only redoubled their efforts - such as trying to redirect our attention away from their huge fake news output with the comparatively minuscule effort of the Russians - if true), but instead I found the book a release of a lifetime of outrage.
The author covered a lot of ground, and from what I've observed in the world, I found the author spot-on in most areas (and not surprisingly, the areas he seemed more well-versed in (fake political and social polls, the attack on the traditional family, the transgender comedy, the homosexual gene, abortion (which spurred a new insight by me - the human fetus is human, it simply lacks higher consciousness - of which it still has in development - so lawmakers can reassess it from there), sex (which reinforced another insight I had - that porn is sex without love or commitment - and don't say you already knew that, too - you didn't), divorce, gay parents (which is only an issue as long as humans remain clueless - and they still are, to the last), GMO's, poverty, fracking (which most people know little about, yet they oppose it based in media hype), the doomsday scenarios of global warming, fake crowd science, but I found that he was off the mark in the one area he was weak in - that of global warming being caused by humans (the recent and still-rising spike is unmistakable) (that is, if the spike I saw was not just another bit of fake science from the Left...).

Exposing manipulation of science
This was excellent listening.
The author gave hard evidence against those who manipulate science for their own ends in a dispassionate manner realizing that the truth speaks for itself. I learned so much about so many current issues that I've heard about; about their background and how the mainstream media and others use them. The book explains how to counter the lies with facts.
