Story
Though perhaps most famous as a novelist, Philip K. Dick wrote more than 100 short stories over the course of his career, each as mind-bending and genre-defining as his longer works. Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams collects 10 of the best. In "Autofac," Dick shows us one of the earliest examples (and warnings) in science fiction of self-replicating machines. "Exhibit Piece" and "The Commuter" feature Dick exploring one of his favorite themes: the shifting nature of reality and whether it is even possible to perceive the world as it truly exists.

Story
The urge to explore and discover is a natural and universal one, and the edge of the unknown is expanded with each passing year as scientific advancements inch us closer and closer to the outer reaches of our solar system and the galaxies beyond them. Generations of writers have explored these new frontiers and the endless possibilities they present in great detail. The Final Frontier delivers stories from across this literary spectrum, a reminder that the universe is far large and brimming with possibilities than we could ever imagine, as hard as we may try.

excellent Sci-fi stories
I have been listening to these stories, one at a time, every night at work and felt inspired after every single one. I started this book because thought it was an old time radio show like X minus One or The twilight zone radio dramas, but found out it was instead a collection of short sci-fi stories. The point is that this book was an unexpected surprise.

Fine stories, underwhelming cast.
I found the stories entertaining. I believe most of them were average. A few were great. I did not enjoy the cast performance. I simply am not a fan of most of the speech patterns and intonations. Normally I would say here that I would easily recommend the book for you to listen to. I think it might be worth your time because of the number of stories. I am conflicted about recommending it. I'll say at least, if you do purchase it, I hope you like the voice actors more then I do.

Don't bother with this unless you like wooden reading and 2nd rate old stories. There is also no information regarding original publication dates etc, information which is useful with vintage SF since it puts the story into context.

Impressive -I aged well.
although these are some old stories/novellas they hold up remarkably well. being 72 myself I knew most of these authors from my younger days. nostalgia made me purchase and I was rewarded with varied and well written works. have to deduct one star for being way ahead of their time inaccuracies crept in.
loved it.
