Publisher's Summary

Tsultrim Allione brings an 11th-century Tibetan woman's practice to the West for the first time with Feeding Your Demons, an accessible and effective approach for dealing with negative emotions, fears, illness, and self-defeating patterns.

Allione - one of only a few female Buddhist leaders in this country and comparable in American religious life to Pema Chodron - bridges this ancient Eastern practice with today's Western psyche. She explains that if we fight our demons, they only grow stronger. But if we feed them, nurture them, we can free ourselves from the battle.

Through the clearly articulated practice outlined in Feeding Your Demons, we can learn to overcome any obstacle and achieve freedom and inner peace.

Relatable, thought-provoking, inspires hope...

Tsultrim Allione writes with incredible imagery, her claims backed by relatable testimonials from her real patients and her own personal stories. Tara Best narrates beautifully, her voice on par with the best of meditation guides. "Feeding Your Demons" inspires hope in even the darkest corners of the psyche, when you think you've tried everything unsuccessfully. I can't wait to start practicing her teachings. ABSOLUTE MUST READ IF YOU'RE A HUMAN!!!

Lightweight, not very informative

I was expecting a serious insight into Chöd, this sounded more like a new age self-help lightweight book. Did not satisfy any of my intellectual curiosity. Disappointing overall.

Thank you

A very profound practice. I've found her on YouTube with guided meditations on "feeding your demons". The guided meditation along with the book providing greater context and stories from others go great together!

Demons or arch types

The so called demons can be better understood by the descriptions of arch types by Carl Jung. If the author replaced the words demons with this it would be much more clear. I wouldn’t call the inner child arch type a demon though.
