Publisher's Summary

From the moment she jumped on his back during a training exercise, Kenna had Marshall “Aleck” Smart’s attention. He wants to know more about the gorgeous, bubbly waitress who tried to “save” him. A lot more. In fact, he wants to know everything. A little hypocritical, since he plays his own cards close to the vest. Experience has shown once women learn about his trust fund, it’s often game over...even as instinct tells him Kenna may be the exception.

Kenna Madigan is mortified she almost landed on the hot Navy SEAL’s head when jumping into the ocean to “rescue” him. In her defense, she’d thought he was drowning. Luckily, he wasn’t mad. Exactly the opposite - he promptly asked her out on a date. Their connection is intense from the start, and Kenna suspects he’s too good to be true. As it turns out, she’s right. Marshall has a big secret, and the discovery causes her some humiliation...partly because of her own judgmental assumptions.

They no sooner weather that bump in their relationship when they find themselves facing an even bigger challenge - an unforeseen life-threatening situation. Turns out, Kenna may get a chance to rescue her SEAL, after all....

Finding Kenna is the third book in the SEAL Team Hawaii Series. Each book is a stand-alone with no cliff-hanger endings.

Lots to love in this one!

This one is my favorite so far! That Meet-Cute is so funny and yet adorable! I LOVED getting to know more about Kenna. She is quite to girl! Defender, saver, hard worker and great personality! Marshall is one who I thought would be cracking jokes or being goofy but he actually seemed quite serious. His devotion and protection of Kenna is every girls dream.

I loved all the men and their advice but my favorite is is Elodi and Lexi at the bar scene! I so enjoyed that and their mens reactions. Then all the times the women come together. They all want to kick behinds and take names. This is a fun bunch

I did listen to this on audio. Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock are the narrators. They both do an excellent job bringing these characters to life. I look forward to the next one

Fair to middling- poor narration choice

I liked the story lines better in Finding Elodie & Finding Lexie which is why I gave it only 3 stars for story, but 4 for overall because I’m enjoying the series. HOWEVER, they NEVER, EVER, EVER should have used a narrator (who is very capable) as the male lead WHO’D ALSO BEEN THE VILLAIN IN THE FIRST BOOK (Finding Elodie). Once my ears/brain made the connection, I couldn’t unhear it & I couldn’t take him as seriously as a romantic lead. Maybe it was just me, but it kinda ruined the listen. I’m hoping the same mistake won’t be made with Finding Melissa.

Can’t wait for the next audiobook!

Loving this series and can’t wait for the next book. Even bought another in a different series by this author. Has some suspense at end, it’s a fun and easy story to follow but kept me interested. Great narration by Emma Wilder and Arron Shedlock

Love this series!

No one writes military romance like Susan Stoker. If you want a book which absorbs you and keeps you fully engaged, read a book by this author! After reading the first in this series I thought no way the next books can be just as good. Well they were and I can’t wait until the next book in the series is out. I highly recommend!

Dreadful

This is an absolutely dreadfully boring book! I thought this was about Navy Seals not a sappy, semi-pornographic poorly written sex story.

Trusting security

Story was as expected. Danger to heroine somewhat unexpected from previous stories. Opened up a new type of concern from unexpected type of danger.

Love This Series

As always Susan Stoker doesn’t disappoint! I loved Alec from the first book and yes Kenna was just perfect for him . I loved that she didn’t need a man and she spoke up about abuse and injustice. The emotions and feelings where felt throughout the book and it was heart stopping when Alec felt so helpless. The narrators were good and believable .

Quite Enjoyable....

When I read I look for enjoyment and lots of fun. I don't do review spoilers and I don't look for social redeeming value, just a good time. Susan Stoker provides a good time with this book, I loved Kenna and "Aleck's" story and it was a fun listen. However, I am not looking forward to the wait for the next books in this series, The narrators were great, Emma Wilder is one of my favorites and Aaron Shedlock is quickly joining that list.

Great story

I really enjoyed Finding Kenna by Susan Stoker and the story was wonderfully narrated by Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock who brought the story and characters to life. I felt the connection that Marshall and Kenna had right from the beginning and loved seeing them together. There wasn’t that much drama between them which was nice and I enjoyed how their relationship developed. I also liked Kenna’s friendship with Carly and what’s to come in this series.

Need a different female narrator

She was annoying to listen to. Loved the male voice though. I will read the next one in series rather than listen.

domestic seals don't work

I love susan stoker and have listened to many of her books and love the military, suspense and angst she can deliver. but when it's domestic it's like a typical romance without as much punch. this was one of these.
I loved her delta and badge of honour series..( my fave) and although there was some domestic in those stories the heroine was often written by way of thinking outside of the box. ...so to speak. they were unusual ladies that had their own story to tell.
loved the narrator's ...as always and no matter the plotline here I'll be reading more but just picking more military than romance books.
