Publisher's Summary

Charming a dragon prince might be her people's only hope. Too bad the handsome shifter can't be trusted.

From NY Times and USA Today best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow, a fantasy science-fiction romance!

As an ambassador for the dragon-shifter monarchy, Prince Kane is well aware of his responsibilities. The shifters might have expelled the evil Federation from their planet and freed their alien prisoners, but they're left with chaos and opposing factions threatening civil war.

This is not the time for Kane to be thinking about romance, especially with Nova, a daredevil leader who rattles his calm and tempts his inner fire. The rousing woman's ideas go against everything he and his people are trying to accomplish.

Before a virus wiped out their home planet and they relocated to Shelter City, Nova's mother had been a revolutionary leader. It's a role Nova has inherited. If outside threats weren't enough, age-old conflicts are fracturing her people during a time they need to band together. Unfortunately, they're isolated and greatly outnumbered, and everything she holds dear is on the line.

Charming a dragon prince might be her people's only hope. Too bad the handsome shifter can't be trusted.

The Prince and the Ambassador

This story was intense! Amazing but intense. So many ups and downs and unexpected turns, even for Michelle. Anyone whose read Michelle M. Pillow's work she does a lot of misdirection that always keeps you guessing at the direction of the book.

One big thing I enjoyed was Nova was not a human. While I love the alien convincing his human mate that she is his, it's done very often. I love that she's a different species of alien.

Full Throttle story

Micheal Ferraiuolo's narration for this series is top notch! I love hearing Michelle M Pillow's books through his voice.
The action starting right from beginning. It starts off running and doesn't slow down for anything or anyone. A million things are going on at once but connect so seamlessly due to Michelle M Pillow's writing. It also had me more emotional than normal.
I adore Nova's character. She's spunky, smart and shows bravado even while terrified. Her younger friend, "little warrior" as Zoran calls her, is one of my most favorite side characters as of now. Now Kane, who doesn't love a beautiful dragon shifter? For him to do a certain thing without a certain other thing just blew me away. Yevgen, the cyborg himself, played a very part in this story. Several times in fact. I am a tad miffed at him. He should have done what he did at the end, sooner. Especially for Justina's sake.
Anyway, it's a fantastic book and probably one of my faves in the series. I apologize that me review was rambling but I really didn't want to spoil anything. 1 click worthy without a doubt

Great Story!!

Loved listening to this story about dragon-shifter Prince Kane and Nova, a revolutionary leader of a dwindling race of relocated refugees from a dying planet. The plot line contains lots of danger and is filled with surprising events. The suspense was so intriguing that I listened to this non-stop. The narrator, Michael Ferraiulo, did an exceptional job by using unique voices for each character—bringing this story to life. Entertaining story

Nova and Kane make for an interesting and awesome pair. Truths, half truths, and outright lies make it difficult to know who to trust and which side to stand with. Entertaining and enjoyable audiobook! The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Don't -So Many Meanings

Fire Prince is the best book of this series. I love the interaction between Prince Kane and Nova and that one word "Don't". That word means a lot between Kane and Nova.

The dragon-shifters and cat-shifters are left with the aftermath of facing the fractions of surviving Cysgodian. The Cysgodian survivors were lied to by the Federation. To the shifters, 30 years is nothing but to the Cysgodian, 30 years of standing on the sidelines by the shifters is that the shifters could not be trusted.

Prince Kane is an ambassador for the Drags. His job is to negotiate a reasonable agreement between the shifters and Cysgodians. It doesn't help when Nova, leader of the revolutionist fraction of the Cysgodian threaten his race with the Federation.

Nova was buffing during the negotiation. She was hoping for a better deal in the Cysgodian favor. What she created was for Kane to mistrust her after he had saved her life.

Kane now has to figure if he could trust Nova and Nova has to figure if she is to believe the Federation or Kane. It doesn't help when Nova's brother Doyan is causing war against the shifters. Both would have to peel so many layers of lies to discover the truth and to stop a war in the making.

Great story. I can't wait for Payton's story.

The narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo does an excellent job in narrating the story. It is easy to tell the difference between several characters.

I was given this audiobook by the author. I have decided to voluntary write an unbiased review of this book. I was not compensated or influenced in any way of writing this review.

4.5 Stars - Another Great Addition to the Series

This latest addition to the Qurilixen Lords series was well written and kept my attention with characters that kept me entertained from beginning to end. The narrator did a fantastic job of breathing life into the this story and making it as fun to listen to as it was to read.

I received an ARC as well as a copy of the audiobook and I am leaving my honest review.

Intriguing!

This is the fourth book in the Qurilixen Lords Series, a dragon shapeshifter romance, and a spinoff of the amazing Qurilixen World. I like this series! Nova and Kane are interesting characters. They are opposites attract. Nova, the leader of the revolutionists, is feisty, smart, and strong. Kane, a shifter prince, and an ambassador for the dragon-shifter monarchy, is handsome and enigmatic. The storyline is intriguing, filled with danger, suspense, and action. Michael Ferraiuolo did a great job with the narration. #Booksprout

strong personalities

Nova is a spitfire, she has a very strong personality. Kane might not have been looking for romance but that's what he found with Nova. I enjoyed the narration as it really brought the characters to life with distinct voices and great emotions. I really enjoyed this audiobook.

Great Story

I liked that Nova didn't just fall at Kain's feet. The story was fun and so entertaining. There wasn't much steam, which I liked. In my opinion, this was one of the best books. I love a good enemies to lovers troupe.

The Fire Prince and the Rebel

Nova is the leader of the Rebellion faction. Kane is a dragon, prince, and diplomat for the Dragon shifters’ royal family. When the federation is finally banished, Kane finds Nova injured and takes her to a healing facility. When they meet again later, they don’t realize they are on the way to the same meeting, one designed to set the path forward for the planet. The participants don’t agree on a lot, but it is a start. Kane and Nova are drawn to each other, but don’t understand the attraction. Can a dragon prince and a rebellion leader fall in love? Can they agree on anything? This is an action-packed story with fantastic characters. It is unpredictable, to say the least. There is danger (of course), political intrigue, distrust, betrayal, sizzling chemistry, and a new start. Michael Ferraluolo’s narration helps bring the story and the characters to life. Great story and enjoyable listen!
