Terrible and Misandrist

This book had no point other than to look to women for meaning and understanding. I would caution anyone from reading this.

If you would like an individual's oversimplified view of the differences between men and women.

NOTE: THIS IS AN ABRIDGED VERSION

This is an abridged version of the book. I didn't realize this until I got the book. I would not have purchased it if I had known that it was abridged. Buyer beware.

abridged?! super short get the full book

I have the book and wanted the audible version so that I could listen to it while driving. It is incredibly short! You should get the full version, it's much better much more complete, and it will get you farther than 2 hours

Recognizing the Toxic Feminine

I am grateful for the information on recognizing the toxic feminine, which put a previous relationship into better perspective.

I was expecting more, but overall a good book.

Vague and utopian

the book was vague and utopian. It was new-agey and lacking in substance. If you want to learn about how to be a man, look elsewhere.

Vague

I was recommended this book after reading The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida (a far better book in my opinion) and this was a serious disappointment.
It is a book which promises profundity but delivers vague anecdotes in a disjointed and sometimes contradictory fashion.
I couldn’t force myself to listen to the last 20 mins.

Awful

Don’t even bother listening to this. Waste of time.

Read: “the way of the superior man” - it’s much better.

Vague

The concept is powerfoul, though its presentation wasn't. The ending was left to interpretation which personally i don't like. Good listen non the less.
