I believe this book saved my life.

I read this book several years ago and I stopped drinking coffee, soda and I stopped eating all dairy products. I believe because I did this I was able to survive stage III ovarian cancer. I want to thank Harvey and Marilyn diamond for this.

This book should have been and could have been 2 hours tops

I think the principles of the book and the overall message are clear and interesting. However, it feels like the writes had a word count minimum. Many times it’s the same message repeated over and over with different power words. I recommend anyone that is interested in this book and it’s message google the main points or buy the book and skip all the fluff.

informative and motivating

Great information about how food interacts with your body. The information in this book feels much more trustworthy and makes a lot more sense than a lot of the new age diets. It is also simple to follow and implement. On day 1 of reading, I was already encouraged to make changes to my diet.

Great lifestyle change book

I first heard about this book in the book Living With A Seal by Jesse Itzler (also a great listen). This is exactly what I’m needing. Not a diet but a new way of living. So excited to get it started.

Juice??

The American Academy of Pediatrics and many other institutions have released studies proving that juice is a leading cause of NAFLD (non alcoholic fatty liver disease), and says around 1 in 10 children currently have it. they advise not giving your child more than 4 oz of juice daily to avoid childhood OBESITY. Yet chapter one says have all the juice you want.

Many studies have proven that protein and fat are protective against insulin spikes, completely destroying their food combining theory. I like the high amount of veggies recomend, but can't see anything else of value here.

I wish I could get my credit back.

Helpful and encouraging for someone who doesn’t know where to start.

This book gave me a starting point and a launchpad. It breaks it down into simple and realistic habits. My goals going into reading this book were to get into marathon running, lose 20 pounds, more energy, and recover faster from workouts. Excited to incorporate what I learn in this book to my lifestyle as I pursue these goals.

Still Relevant and Effective After All These Years!!!

When I consider the books that have the greatest impact on my life and practices, this book comes in second only to tbe Bible. No exaggeration! The principle of high water content foods alone has impacted how I eat, feed my family, teach students and patients! Many of the recipes in this book have served me well for 35 years or so! Long ago I cooked my way through the 28 day menus. Learning ingredients and techniques prepared me for years of creative cooking! I can’t say enough good about this book and the principles! Most marked physical effects for me are increased energy/decreased fatigue, powder soft skin vs. oily, and weight loss. For me, it’s the final word in eating. No gimmicks, no exclusive products to buy, just good sense. Thank you, @harveydiamond and @marilyndiamond! ❤️

If you read only one book in your life...Read this

Packed with life changing information. I am looking for to this new and improved version of my life. I immediately started implementing the knowledge gained while reading this book. Everything makes perfect sense.

By the way the chapters are complete.It's just the way the chapters follow to the next..meaning the last sentence is actually the heading of the next chapter. The narrative sounds good, it works!
