Deft Prose

In Flyboys Wolff gifts his imagination unbounded access to the mind of a boy and his friends as they dream of building a jet.

This liberty, too, affects his language, as within their fantasies, together the friends touch the very edge of space.

Wonderful. Thank you Tobias, Anthony and all involved at Blackstone, and Audible.

Usual unusual Wolff short short story

Reminiscences of boyhood, its challenges, poignant delights, and hard learned lessons told by the masterfully ironic Tobias Wolff. A solid tale complemented by the always excellent narrator, Anthony Heald.
